I wish text to image did not exist but there is no doubt but grudgingly these images are very impressive. I feel the skills a lot of us have devoted our skills to learning how to model and render are almost redundant. But that felling will be felt by many. Doctors, lawyers, musicians and admin etc Jus saying. What others feel about AI

Quite expected it read "...and an engineer". BTW, they should add a like button, so we can like the post.

Art is hard to price... To me they are priceless... But I would say a good typical price would be $100.00 U.S. dollars for each. If they are indeed 14 inches wide. In Ebay auctions and sales of "buy now" products there should be one page per item. people consider normally that they are getting everything pictured for the given price. To me these are high quality originals should be priced accordingly... perhaps an auction would allow people to offer what they consider it being worth.

I'm not familiar with building practices in the UK, but based on your image I am guessing it's similar to the US. Generally, wood studs are pre-cut to a certain length - when combined with the bottom plate and two top plates, and then drywall installed, the desired 8' (or 9' or 10') ceiling height is achieved. Unless essential to whatever the wall finish is, typically the studs (verticals) are not placed symmetrically, and are spaced 16" or 24" on center from one end or the other, and extra framing for doors and windows added as needed (the standard 16" or 24" spacing is useful for determining location of the framing when the drywall is installed and the framing is hidden from view). The horizontal blocking would only be installed if needed for installing millwork (cabinets) or such. It's not clear what will happen with the chimney breast - will it be built in front of the wall? What's it made out of? Is the fireplace a pre-fab insert, or solid masonry? [image: T2Lf_wall-framing-diagram.jpg]

Looks like the door heights are different. Large one is about 6" higher.

I hate self promotion. but the reason I designed: Cabinet Tools Plugin for SketchUp Component Cabinet Tools Plugin for SketchUp was because of my dissatisfaction with other programs. click on my plugins for more information Also have a look at my newBookShelf Tools which extends the use of Drawers and Doors not only to Bookshelves, but also to the Cabinet Tools Plugin cheers!

There been talks about super-sensitive screen, wireless charging, colors... finger print reader. But who knows, it always will be a blast for fans and others wonder why anything has changed in years (except a better display)

We have various manufacturer (elevators, lighting, windows, doors, flashing, etc.) always offering to come into the office and present a lunch-n-learn presentation, which usually offers 1-2 CEUs. We at least get a free lunch.

Hal is an inspiration! His eyesight is failing but his passion is growing! He thinks nothing of spending 2 years on a painting! Now that's passion! This is my favourite painting by Hal, [image: qnBc_HallsTreesPainting.jpg] I notice that he prices all his works at $98! I was wondering why this was so, then I realised that he is now 98 years young! I hope he continues to pixel paint and sells painting for $100, $101, $102 ....

Thanks for that link Carsten. I am trying to get my head around it. Granted, a cube is indeed a very practical envelope for enclosing volume but I don't think its ideal when it comes to Solar Houses. I notice that GizMag have an article of solar houses, Solar Decathlon 2013: Five solar houses to watch http://www.gizmag.com/solar-decathlon-2013/28275/ I've scanned through the 76 images and was a little disappointed as no planning details were shown only pretty renders One thing I did notice was that a lot of the designs showed PV panels propped on roofs and it looked to me that Sun orientation considerations where not being taken into account for the intended locations of these houses. Its a simple well know fact that PV and SWH panels perform best when they are orientated a right angles (on average) to the mid day sun.
