You wouldn't feel any colder if your body has consumed fat reserves. It's only after those reserves are gone and the fuel is gone (starvation) would you feel the effects. That's not to say you wouldn't feel cold. Most people do. Just not the extreme sensitivity to cold. There are other factors besides fat content and food consumption that affect body temperature - namely the body's ability to regulate temperature through circulatory system.

@rhankc said: BOOOO Dude, you'll scare the kids! cool face. Well it is almost Halloween SketchUp is much more intuitive than Revit. That said, Revit is much more powerful. As far as all the small details, you can get as detailed as you want to with Revit but the beauty is that you don't have to. I don't want to go back to Autocad if I don't have to if that tells you antyhing. I am still searching for that perfect workflow fit for SketchUp and Revit.

Sorry for your unfortunate accident Nick. My mother used to work on Redstone Arsenal here in Huntsville, AL. She was coming home one night and hit a deer. Totaled the car. After the MP made sure she was alright he asked her if she wanted the deer. She declined and the MP had one of his buddies with a truck on site before the tow truck made it there.

I wish you the best of luck Craig. Although, with your skills, both computer and physical, I am sure you will land on your feet whatever the outcome.

At school I played the usuals; football and rugby. I was enthusiastic but pretty terrible. Also had to play cricket in the summer, you americans should be glad you don't play it, it sucks; complicated rules and very boring. I did a bit of climbing and abseiling later on and got quite into that, would like to take it up again. In my twenties I experimented with a gym membership but just found it boring but did do some kickboxing that I would also like to try again - not to batter people, just for fitness. For the past thirteen years I have been running a few miles every day religiously and entered a few local 10k races, I should join the local club and get more competitive, this thread may inspire me.

Thanks Craig, advise from an expert is always welcome. When I bought the Nolan helmet I was careful about the size and it fitted well .... snug as you say. Its a nice helmet which allows a bluetooth device for phone but a little heavy to town riding. Maybe okay on motor-ways though. On the 'training track', fortunately a new Furniture Store has opened just up the road from me with a large car park. It even has speed ramps! I've been going there in the evening 7-8pm getting used to things. Its dark at this time here but it is well lit. Oh! they also have security cameras and I'm now wondering if they are thinking that I might be casing the joint when they look at the videos in the morning

Coen - If I knew how to program html sites , I would probably do that. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowlege, the software or (to be honest) the time to learn it all. Knowing flash was sort of a by-product of doing animated presentations - I learnt flash long before I knew you could also use it as a developer tool. I guess, like everything, it's a trade off - not having to pay a web developer vs. having a flash portfolio. I know it would be better, though, so it's on my long list of things I need to learn Thanks for the feedback! AJ
