Logos and Endorsements

I think name brands sell...when homebuyers see the stickers on the windows of a new house, or the name on the refrigerator etc. they imagine a standard of quality.
I am incorporating company logs on my drawings, My own and if the project is in conjunction with a contractor, developer, etc. their logo is placed in the title block.
I often spec certian manufacturers and am very loyal to some of these providers, but I have not included their logos on any printed documents. Being the perception of quality is sometimes associated with the label, does anyone see any reason or merit to using a manf. logo in your drawing? Their name is already used, so the logo would actually be eyecandy. Do the manufacturers ever pay for this type of representation?
The value of higher education: gives you the ability to yell...without raising your voice.

I don't know about the U.S., but you'd be lucky to get paid by a brand for doing this in the UK. Also, you should get the brands permission before duplicating their logo
