Apart from our own and one other vote nobody wanted 2018 in the UK, such is life. However I'm at a loss to understand the sense of surprise in the English camp that FIFA delegates who said yes to their face, said no in the vote. Surely that normal in such circumstances.

The forums point to a .php file I think. If they pointed directly to the file, you would also be able to drag the link into SketchUp and have SU open the file directly in your current model. It would be a loverly feature, but phpforum does not do their attachment downloads good enough.

Many of you receive a SketchUpadate Newsletter. It is irritating that the first, seemingly 'the most important', information was: @unknownuser said: Most folks who use SketchUp are also fans of Google Earth, so I thought I'd let you know that there's a new version available. We wound rather appreciate an info when SU8 Maintenance release will be ready.

traceparts has thousands of models on the 3d warehouse. They aren't "SketchUp Ready", but overall are not bad for a start.

@unknownuser said: works ok here (Chrome/OSX). see if the user doesn't have any antivirus that mess things up. or you can use TeamViewer and debug on his machine As it turns out - the user had Norton Antivirus installed. When he disabled that everything worked fine. His browser was Safari - but I'm not sure if that is of any significance. I do say... Norton... blocks secure HTTPS sites... So the issue is now resolved. Thanks guys for checking.
