      I'm getting a model from a client, that is being provided by 'his' client.. and is supposedly a FreeForm model... anyone have any experience with this and have any ideas how I can convert this to something I can manipulate in SU?? thanks alot.

          I dont know... I think its the file format based on the wording of the email he forwarded to me... he said they are 'freeform digital files'...and i do see a program called FreeForm and the screenshots of the models look similar to the images I was provided.

            Ah, the company 'Sensable technologies' makes it, a medical/dental 3d app.

            I wonder if you can get client to export to .obj or .stl, I believe it's supported.

            If not maybe see if they have a trial/demo and do it yourself.

              yes..that's the one. i've already requested an obj, he's having difficulty getting them to release the model at all though.
