@pbacot said: I don't do much. I am busy using SU for construction drawings. Wish I had more time as it takes me a long time whenever I try rendering. Very rarely get into interior work. pbacot : That's understandable (your time is spent doing layouts for construction). Hey....you have a job......are working. THAT'S a good thing. garystan

That's a beautiful dining car! Enjoy studying the models and renders. Better than photos in a way!

Thanks again for the comments. I used a Kodak Portra 800 film response which pushed some of the saturation and shadows. Daniel go for it ! PS i thought this was going to be easy but it ended up being quite complicated getting the required detail over the large area.

I didn't model the interior looks quite fiddly. Plus modelling it inside the faberge egg would be mind bending

In keeping with the theme, you should replace the dresser with lockers.

@massimo said: This has been in my computer for quite a long time now. It was modeled starting from the real thing. I decided to try a couple of shots after a pretty quick set-up. Sketchup + Thea + a slight touch of pp with Arionfx. @hornoxx said: :thumb: What a nice comfortable and huge sofa this is - but even if you would have placed a brand board(?) [nail bed (?) I don´t know the English word] - with this view, everything would be a pleasure at this place ! "Bed of nails", and yes, it would still have that great view.

Thanks for the nice comments all ya all. Daniel, At the risk of enabling laziness, I will answer your Question...Again... suPodium is my renderer of choice. I have always found it to be a great balance between ease of use with quality. With relatively limited experience one can make some very nice renders, and with some effort and experience some very fine work can be produced. p

@lavanta said: This has a very nostalgic feeling to it and I like it. Also something playful, it reminds me of a children's box somehow I don't know if this was intented though, it's just what came to my mind when I first looked at it. Really good job! Lavanta : It was intended to show what was in dad's "jewelry" (for lack of a better word) box. Kind of just a rememberance of dad. garystan
