    Ta, Steve. Not sure about the 'hubcaps' on alloys but they are there on the other hotrod I did some tome ago.     I love your art, the caught up in an idea (to me) seems as though a something is grabbing something else from the back in a Heimlich Maneuver type way. Your art is similar, (while at the same time way different) to the work of Charles Csuri.

    Ah, now I know what you mean. Thanks both! I managed to get a good DOF due to a low res HDRI. To be honest, that's one of the things I don't like about my model. But I'm glad you like it.

    Mufakka, You can increase your circle segments in SU and thus making it smoother for rendering. When you draw your circle click on its circumference go to entity info >segments and Insert the new value inside the box, maximum is 100. I don’t know about other podium rendering issues that cause such behavior because I don’t use it but there is probably someone here on the forum that can give you advice on that.

    Dont get your hopes up bruce. The model was a real quicky, and is very messy as a result. Ill have to redo the whole thing if i want to make any changes. sigh.

    Camille, The diffuse map gives the general aspect of your material. The bump map is a kind of height map. It is usually a greyscale image (RVB though), where dark areas are the low zones and bright ones are high zones. In somes cases, the diffuse map can make the deal.
