We are currently working of a series of new tutorials, hopefully we'll be able to include that as well. Yes, you can create container nodes that can group multiple nodes into one: https://www.fluidinteractive.com/products/sketchup-extensions/viz/help/containers/

I played with it a few years ago and it was good, the demo only allowed for 1 card but as I understand it you can have several so you could have a card for a site, another for the existing building and another for the proposed. You could then have the 1st 2 within view of the camera, remove the 2nd one, introduce the 3rd etc. You only get to see the result on screen though, on the desk is only the qr code like cards and unless you’re willing to move the webcam around by hand you only have the 1 viewpoint.

There's also Mirillis Action! https://mirillis.com/game-recorder and OBS recorder, which I personally use, but weren't mentioned in the thread. Also, there's Xsplit, Movavi - I heard a lot of them, mostly good opinions. But if anyone is looking for a free screen recorder, I think OBS is the best option.

To answer my own post, I don't think it can be done because the angles change at one end of a strut, relative to the material thickness and radius of the sphere.

Okay finally, after testing the setup for a week, I can say Eureka! Making that "symbolic link was the answer. (MKLINK /D link target.. you can Google this command for more info)**. Now, all my components is loaded on network drive and being shared by 2 different Sketchup PC in our office. Updating the menu is more efficient now unlike before that I need to copy manually from one PC to another whenever there's changes. The only downside I noticed (this is subjective) is the loading time of thumbnail on your menu- because I have tons of components on the menu (8GB), the thumbnails needs about a second or two to become visible unlike when it is saved locally- you'll see it right away. So that's it, hope this helps! **reminder when using MKLINK, first make sure that your "link" folder is non existent before using this- took me a long time of trial and error why its not working, it's because I first created an empty folder of same name- so don't do that, let the command create the link folder by itself.

I don’t want to sound too cheesy (bit late?), but don’t forget that our Pre-Release period will close on November 6th. Sign up to PlusSpec Lite before this date and be in the chance to win a 12 month PlusSpec Pro license! Also, you’ll earn the title ‘Grandfather’, which gives you a bunch of ongoing benefits. For $10, you can try Lite for yourself. If you love it, brilliant! If you don’t, just cancel. Either way, you’ll know - and you’ll be in the chance to win the Pro version, valued at $773 USD.

The program is available in a fully functional free version as well as a Pro version that adds more features. SketchUp is particularly useful if your business deals a lot with the accurate modeling of objects, such as in the architectural or design fields. Apart from creating your own components, the software also includes pre-built models that you can resize to fit your needs. Newly created components can be re-sized with the Tape Measure tool while pre-built components, or those imported from a component file, are altered with the scale tool. For the records: if a plugin is compatible with SU2014, possibly it's not compatible with any previous release due to heavy change to Ruby, which passed from 1.8 to 2.0, with many "breaking changes" which can prevent old script from working. Same happens when passing from SU2016 to SU 2017. This is the sequence of updates which may impact plugins compatibility: 17/12/2008: Armedia Plugin 1.0 22/sep/2009: Sketchup 7.1 released 1/sep/2010: Sketchup 8.0 released (8.0.3117 on Windows, 8.0.3161 on Mac); Updated Ruby Version to 1.8.6 on PC; lLast "x.y" version. Next versions get year-based numbering. Armedia plugin: from 1.0 to 2.2 28/apr/2011: Armedia plugin 2.1 released 15/dec/2011: Armedia plugin 2.2 released Introduced support for zipped extensions (.rbz) in SU8.1 21/may/2013:** Sketchup 2013 **released, passing from Google to Trimble Armedia plugin: from 1.0 to 2.2 . Last update of Android player. 24/mar/2014: Armedia plugin 2.3 released (this thread) 27/feb/2014: **Sketchup 2014 **released (14.0.4900 on Windows, 14.0.4899 on Mac); Ruby update to 2.0; plugins broken. Added encription capability for scripts (.rbs). Heavy changes to plugin default folder (*) ARMedia plugin version: 2.3 3/nov/2015: **Sketchup 2015 **released (15.0.9350 on Windows 64-bit, 15.0.9351 on Windows 32-bit, 15.0.9349 on Mac 64-bit); added 64 bit version ARMedia plugin version: 2.3 (only for SU 32 bit?) SU2017 M0 = 17.0.18899 on Windows 64-bit, 17.0.18898 on Mac 64-bit: Ruby update to 2.2; plugins broken; Added encryption capability 2.0 for scripts (.rbe) Armedia plugin: not compatible? Ancient versions of Sketchup can be found here: http://win98.altervista.org/sketchup/ (*) Plugins on Windows have now been moved outside the SU Installation folder. On Vista, Win 7, 8: C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp2014\SketchUp\Plugins On Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings<username>\Application Data\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins On Windows, we also load plugins from a user-independent support directory. On Win Vista, 7, 8: C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins On Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins

I think I have an old license but that is not the issue. I don't want to install it if I am not going to use it just to be able to use that function.

Take a look at what "Medeek" (developer) is doing. You can also take a look at "House Builder" (plugin / extension) for the wall framing. "Profile Builder 2" (plugin / extension) is also a good choice for the wall framing, but you have to know what it is that you're making to get the best out of it.

Hello, In case you did not figure it out yet. I got the same error and it was fixed when I installed "Fredo6". Meaning you need to install 2 plugins for FredoScale to work. Hope that helps!
