It doesn't change much at all - under the hood the API still calls them 'layers'.
Very similar to the way it still sees 'scenes' as 'pages' - changed because Layout arrived...

I know, this is an old post, but in the meantime I have found a more elegant solution for this and maybe there is still someone in need of it.

When working on more complex models, disabling OpenGL was not the ultimate solution. NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT driver update did not solve the problem either. Than I have found this information on exactly the same problem and its solution ... and it is finally gone!
