Happens to me all the time...I just thought it was a standard thing like when you draw a line to cut geometry and it creates a new white face over your existing material face.

If you have view (in style) set to "Hidden Line Mode" or "Shaded using all the same" so you can show just black & white in LayOut...it doesn't show the section images

Can you make it work in 'Hidden Line Mode' or 'Shaded using all the same' or 'Shaded mode' please?

I'm a complete newbie to DC's.
I'm trying to create a dynamic stud wall panel.
I've managed to be able to change the length of the wall using a drop down list and get it to add more studs the longer the wall gets but i want the studs spaced at centres and not at the LH edge.

Is there a way of changing this without affecting the first stud? I've had a play about with the settings but when I get one thing right, another thing goes wrong.

I already created a default template with the desired views but it still opens up in PP mode.

Is there a way to set SU to open in Perspective view?
Whenever I open a new file or an existing file (even when saved in perspective view), it always opens in Parallel Projection.
