@AcesHigh Does it work with groups.. I just installed it on 2023 but seems not to work.. I have other replace components plugin which works only with components.. not groups

I was long time thinking about something including Your drape but even more complicated.. that's why I didn't do it.. is way over me..
I mean like Your drape but somehow remembering the terrain on which it is draped. For landscaping purpose.. You draw in a group Your terrain not to complicated.. than You drape a road lines etc from another group that it is completely flat.. If You see that some area requires some refinement You context click on it .. let say something like "edit base group" You add some details and all updates automatic..
Maybe some way to include eventually push pulls from the draped group.. like to keep the edge of the road and pavement..
and You could draw some additional detail in the flat group and click update.. (automatic update would be way to heavy I guess).
Like I said.. I can make some very simple plugin.. make my toolbar.. but that is way over me.. -

The program doesn't accept NO
I have the same problem which had @chon (in 2014 year).. When I choose faces to place the components on and choose to not allow collisions (so simply trying to kill my PC).. It give message about how long it will take and asks if it should continue.. Yes only doubles the time, No gives me again the same message..
I am installed in additional folder.. just yesterday from sketchucation so I believe I have all the fresh updated version..
In standard plugins folder it works the same..
on 2016 Pro and 2019 trial.. -

Second problem ThruPaint tries very hard to make texturing continues.. As far as I have seen Your desired result it has breakes on every bend of tube.. So I guess You want some mix of 'quad' abd 'natural uv' modes.. Just select and paint each segment seperatly with 'natural uv'.. As You did I guess.. -

It doesn't crush ENScape or something so don't worry..
Enscape is a render plugin for sketchup and few other like Rhino, Vectorworks..I found that if I set up an ENS material and "Save As" it to some library, Fredo6 ThruPaint (which I use actually instead of native paint bucket) doesn't see ENS specific settings when introducing new material to the model.. It works with no problem when material is already one of the materials.
So if You have created a library of ENS setted up materials and want to use them in Your model, than when You pick the material from that library and paint it in Your model for the first time do it with native sKetchup Paint Tool. ThruPaint will make it a 'flat' sKetchup material loosing any links to bump, roughness etc. and mixing Tint Color and Color settings into texture image..
I don't really know who should fix what in order to make it work so I let know to both. I love ThruPaint and I have to use ENS.

I'm just starting with sketchup API and I have choosen CLF Extended Views as a sample lo see how extention should be made..
Soon enough I realised that it doesn't work in sketchup 2017..
I found out it was due to change made in sketchup 2017 when exploding groups..I started to learn ruby last month but with lots of digging in sketchup's API documentation I managed to fix it.. (So proud )
Here is the .rbz file (just zipped it and changed the extention to .rbz)
This should workI wanted to send that file directly to Chris so he could maintain it in extention warehouse but couldn't find his email.. Hope You don't mind.. It was a greate excercise to me..

I guess it was a deliberate choice but still will mention it.. Unlike native sKetchup paint tool ThruPaint treats faces separated by a "hidden" lines as one surface. So if I will cut a face on 3 and then hide cutting lines sKetchup would paint it in 3 clicks and ThruPaint in just one..
It is not big bother but it is a different behaviour and after using thruPaint few years still sometimes (today) makes me confiused..
Is there an option somewhere in the settings to change it.. deeply hidden..Tomasz

I have little bug for JPP. Seems to be related to different matherials used for fases and edges since clearing all the materials to default helps..
I often use different material for edges to make them look lighter on jpgs,so it actually happens a lot..
I gave to it all default mat. and tried to replicate the error. (I marked the selection in red copied in front of it.) I added again different material to the 2 middle horizontal edges (everything else default). Still working. I added different mat. for fases sorrounding edges and it still worked. I added more mat. to all faces neighbouring with the selection to be pushedpull. Erra..

Sorry for trouble but I know how to meke the spin.. in corect speed.. What I ment was..
I have made rotate movement for 4 wheels. So 2 of them were moving opposite direction cos they were scaled *-1. I wanted without deliting movement itself remove two wheels from it.. Couldn't do it so..
Only way I know is deliting the movement for 4 wheels and meke new one for 2 wheels on one side and another for other side.
Editing values - Works. Editing selection - Don't know if possible.Thanks again..

I was looking for a way to remove some objects from the movement and adding others without deleting and creating another movement.. though I was uneable to do so.. probably some luck of click somewhere.. I haven't noticed it in tutorial..
I could go into edition of movement and select some but green arrow with dot for saving changes would stay greyed out.. When I deselected all (using arrow with x sign provided in animator) and selected what I wanted then green was green but all stopped spinning. I was going to look for that myself not to bother pros with such a littlies.. but I tried and no more ideas..
And the wheels spin opposite way than the arrow shows even though angle is possitive. When I change to negative (-795) they spin opposite direction but arrow aswell changed to opposite so it is always pointing wrong..I'm actually childish proud of myself that I have actually foud a bag.. I mean you did, but... I helped..
I don't know who did it, but the file did dissapear. And in place of it was another file 1.skb . With same (about) time of creation like the time of dissapearing. And with date for a day ealier when simillar thing happend I have 0.skb file. So deffiniatelly something strange.

So I opened the same file today and animation again stopped on the end of duration of sceen camera before the "capture view" camera with attached shadow.. I thought maybe I haven't saved something yesterday. So I recaptured the view with changed shadow, saved inside animator and after going out of it.. Don't remember on which save I had notification " C file 5 exception ...bla bla bla" These are only worlds I remember. I didn't knew whats that about.. sKetchup was still working all looked fine..
I opened new file to again reopen my test animation and then I found test.skp is gone.. I saved twice so I could just use skb without problems but that was strange.. And happened second time this week just before I didn't connect it with another test file missing.. I'll show you the message if it happens again.. -

To Fredo6 - Just very curious.. Are you a man or an institution.. Somehow can not fit it in my small head that someone having regular job, does all that work with plugins for free as a hobby in free time.. It seems not an easy thing to write it and you do a LOT..

"Fog" doesn't change smoothly between cameras, like "shadows" and "field of view" does. It just jumps to next style's value.
"date" for shadows. If I have to cameras based on sceens with two different dates (june and october), it causes jumping creasy shadows. not often people would use that but that little thing to fix.
As well when adding camera based on sceen, using styles, layers visibility and shadows connected to camera could be by default turned on (seems good to me).
When using camera captured from current view, options for using shadows, layers and styles attached to camera are not greyed out.. Is it becuse you can attach them? When I clicked shadows on, than it stopped the animation at the end of duration of previous camera.. so seems like it lucked of informations.. OOKK that was becouse I didn't turn on shadows on when capturing the camera.. When I chose the camera and recaptured with new shadows it worked.. though would be good it there was something in memory even if I don't turned it on..
There is nice smoothing of the path between the possitions of ongoing cameras. So the path of camera is a nice curve. (with bezzier) But speed is stil interpolated only between two consecutive cameras so there is no smooth change of sppeed in the point of camera's placement.. this one could be "eased" too... I was hoping for that ..

I installed but nothing in Extensions>Chris Fullmer Tools> I have there extended views already.. Maybe issue is only the change of "plugins" folder name to "extensions"..Tomasz

Grate job. Was looking for something like that many many times..
Not set or skipped scenes could be assigned 0 angle for north.. Safes me saving many 0 for most scenes.. unless somebody wants to keep purposely previous scene angle but I've never had such a need and can not imagine what for. -

One suggestion.. Can you make option maybe in the next reliese.. "Stick with orriginal contours" for triangulated mesh.. So the plugin would not make triangles between not adjacent contour lines (for example one point of triangle on hight=2m another h=3m and third h=5m). Could be done by inforcing engine to require for points two the same hights and fird different.. simple check.. I'm crab with programming but could be nice add on.. I usually have to stick with orriginal contours...
