il y faut enlever la ligne interpolate dans les .pov pour que le rendu se fasse :
texture {
uv_mapping pigment {
image_map {
jpeg "drifting_planes.jpg"
map_type 0
interpolate 0

• RE: [Plugin] SU2POV 3.5

Je ne sais si un autre renderer OS ou gratuit pour SU existe, mais pour ceux qui ont POV 3.7, il faut changer un peu povray.ini et rajouter :
version = 3.6
ça permet, par exemple, de retrouver la couche alpha (transparent). Il faudrait un MAJ de su2pov pour intégrer la version ça va devenir obligatoire dans le futur de POV.

• RE: [Plugin] Boolean--OSCoolean (Dec 2013) for SU 8 up free ver

For me, it was working for SU8 but not 2013.
I removed some plugins from the SU2013 plugin folder and identified sketchyphysics as not compatible with OsCoolean.
It may happens with other plugins too because of badly named variables usually.

• RE: Match photo and blue axis tilt

You're right Dave.
It seems awkward to me but sketchup needs corner centered image.
Well, now I need to find which side and how much was cropped on each picture to re-center.
Or may be it's impossible to find?

• RE: Match photo and blue axis tilt

Thanks Dave for your quick reply.
I didn't shoot this one but it happened on my, not edited, pictures in the past. Could be small products or big buildings.
I successfully use match photo for some years now, I read help files and searched forum and re-checked tutorials and never stumble upon this case, I wonder how it can happen.

Hmm, cropping an image shouldn't change its perspective, I agree that "Free Transform > perspective" tool can change it in Photoshop, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't used on this one because it's not necessary in this case.

• Match photo and blue axis tilt

Sometimes (more and more) I notice that a photo cannot match exactly and I don't know why.

http://screenshoot.me/photomatch

I made a box according to the dimensions of the product in the photo (h=362mm, w=258mm, d=218mm) but blue axis cannot align following the picture and scale following blue axis is incorrect.
It looks like a camera "tilt" issue when photo was taken but green and red lines should be enough to correct this, I guess.
I checked EXIF info but there's nothing about the focal.
Here's the file if you want to test it: j2l.x10.bz/photomatch_issue.skp

Any photo match guru who know how to make it work in this case?

• RE: Auto-complete callout with dimensions

Thanks TIG!
I followed your detailed posts and successfully ran it. My first ruby console trick.
But a part placed with an angle throws x,y,z different from l,w,h. How can I get real length, width and height?

• Simple bug?

Created 2 frames, one in the other. No joints, no hinge, nothing.

When I hit play the frame within the other wants to levitate above the other one.
See by yourself http://www.togethearth.com/files/simple_bug.skp

It was done with SU6 because SU7 crashes with SP on Mac (see another post about this problem for many of us).

Spoke too fast SU7 still crashes but not SU6 with latest SP3 RC.
You can google "download sketchup mac older version" to get the link to SU6.

Grrr. Ça me gonfle !

• RE: Crash on mac os X 10.5.6

Hi,

SU stands for SketchUp
SP stands for SketchyPhysics

On Mac OS X 10.4.11, I had sketchup 7 to crash everytime I simply create a floor (from SP toolbar), 2 simple square faces on it and simply switch to "move/copy" tool.
Try to simply do the same and tell us if it crashes too.

I thought it was SU7, so I copied sketchyphysics3 RC plugin to a SU6 install I kept (because it was working 😉 ), did the same experiment and .. it crashed. SO the problem was really SP and not SU.

Then I tried to remove sketchysolids.rb from SP3 RC (another one was present in sketchyphsics3 folder, I deleted the one at the root of the plugin) and ... wow, it works fine! No crash!

Also I noticed that OpenGL need latest version, check if you'Re up to date.

Bonne chance

• RE: SketchyPhysics3 FAQ.

Mmmh, not sure if this thread is still active.
BTW, I'd like to share my 2 cents work with the community, I "updated" the Quick Reference Card (mostly for togethearth MAC users at first):
http://togethearth.com/files/SketchyPhysics_QuickReference_Card_MAC.pdf

If other Mac users find it useful let me know.
