wondering if there is any hope, that future SU imports 2D ai/eps files directly, rather

than converting 2D model to dwg/dxf , import to SU and spend hours (with an excellent WELD plugin)

to fix the lines.

sorry to see the same problem, which i´ve too.
i´m sorry that so excellent program doesn´t support eps/ai/cdr files.
when i like to import from coreldraw ( in my case) i added a lot of dots,export to *dxf, then fix each object manually with weld plugin in SU.
hope this issue gets fixed soon,it´ll be a great improvement for sure.

*i gets the best results by dxftool pro macro for CorelDraw

i´ve encountered a similar problem, crashing with SU8 when apply dimensions to a simple

model.( + with 1001bit plugin too )

i fixed by reinstalling sketchup, vray, and updating graphic driver.

displacement was checked by default, not by me...

i´ve repeat it today, and get the same weird result , even dispacement setting is

unchecked.

i never use displacement for this rendering.

i´ve even updated graphic card driver with no results, maybe some gremlins are playing in

my wet laptop.
