    • RE: Non-delivery of purchased ebook from Sketchucation shop

I purchased a book through the sketchUcation Shop three days ago, but have not received any email from sketchUcation yet. Yes, I did check my spam folder.

Could someone please confirm that my purchase came through and let me know when I can expect to receive the download link for the book.

    • RE: 3D Truss Models

It would be interesting to hear from the current users of the Truss and Foundation plugins. Looking at the Kickstarter project it looks like only 4 Truss Plugin users are interested in the upgrade and none of the Foundation Plugin users are showing any interest. Although it is possible that some of the existing users are among the 23 backers that made the Basic or Advanced pledges. Still, only 30 backers?

Some also overlook the fact that their pledge amount is only charged if funding succeeds.

If the project is not successfully funded, no one pays anything.

      Hi Garry,

Is some sort of cutlist functionality included with CabMaker 2 or do I need CutMaster 2 to make cutlists?

Do you have plans to make a Mac version of CutMaster?

    • RE: Medeek Wall Plugin

This plugin looks really promising and the Construction Library Extension seems like a logical step to take the Foundation and Truss plugins to the next level.

I don't understand why there is no more interest from the users. Am I missing something obvious?

My guess would be that the offset nailing pattern would be stronger in tension maybe by 20%.

Great news for all licensed users of the Medeek Foundation Plugin.
Nathaniel just updated the Medeek Construction Library KickStarter project by adding a pledge that lets people upgrade their existing Foundation Plugin license to the Construction Library license for $35.

The BuildEdge site address is http://www.buildedge.com.
However, it looks like the product may be dead?
You may be able to purchase a license through their [url=https://keymark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200077699-BuildEdge-Pro-for-SketchUp:r6cketoc]customer support site[/url:r6cketoc].

Does anyone know what happened to BuildEdge?

I can imagine how much time and effort this endeavour must take and am willing to wait. Good things take time.
Thank you Matt and Nick for starting this project. Having purchased Matt's first book and the videos I am sure the next one will be great.

From the posts in this thread, it looks like there are plenty of people interested in purchasing PlusSpec, unfortunately you decided to make your software available as RENTAL only.

    • Interesting Move by Lenovo

Lenovo is selling computers that come preinstalled with adware that hijacks encrypted Web sessions and may make users vulnerable to HTTPS man-in-the-middle attacks that are trivial for attackers to carry out.

More details about this in an article "Lenovo PCs ship with man-in-the-middle adware that breaks HTTPS connections" at Ars Technica.

If your system is affected by this here is a link to a followup article describing the removal of the malware:

      aadbuild,

Can you please clarify the license terms?
I read through the PlusSpec Terms & Conditions on your website, nothing is mentioned about the plugin will stop working one year after the day of purchase unless I pay a renewal fee.

I can't find anything on your website that says anything about renewal.

Does the plugin stop working if I do not renew the subscription or I can continue to use it except that I won't be eligible for updates?

      @aadbuild said:

No one likes yearly renewals, yet at the same time no one likes 10 year old software. The technology industry is changing so quickly that constant development is required. The new PlusSpec 2015 is 10 times better than PlusSpec 2014 and the cost to keep the latest software is less than a case of beer per week and the renewal cost is less than 10% of most of its competitors.
The new version of PlusSpec comes out mid Feb 2015 Michael (MWDS) and you will not find anything even remotely close to what you are looking for other than PlusSpec. Call me after you try the rest.

Sorry Aleks, I do not have PlusSpec, I was just thinking that there are not that many users that use PlusSpec on this site and that is why I suggested you also try to ask for help there.

How long have you been waiting for a response on their website?

      Did you try Krisidious' suggestion?
