I love architecture. I must have been an architect in another life.....anyway, these images show us that design (more or less) could take different shapes.

    • RE: Lag in opening SketchUp

I have the same problem, but I never thought it's vray's fault. However, Thomas (read vray guru) πŸ˜„ made a plug-in to load vray on demand. Here's the link for it:

Whenever I had problems with tilling, I always had reverted faces. Check in monochrome style, if it's blue and not white, flip it.

Resistor,it's very simple, just import a 3ds model, select the model and use the cleanup tool. This is the link for this wonderful plug-in. Watch the tutorials!

I hope this is similar enough for you. Found it on the web as 3ds model, converted to su model. It's not perfect, I used cleanup plug-in from Thomas, but as you see it renders pretty fine.
      Cheers!

Antonis, I'm glad you like the models, but I didn't model them. I just used the wonderful plug-in "cleanup" made by Thomas, to clean some non-commercial 3ds model that I have on my hard drive. The renders are mine, glad you like them.
      Cheers!

    • RE: Inverted shadows??

If this is the look you're after, then all you need to do, is to load the visopt "high quality studio", make sure the ambient occlusion is on, overwrite materials and wait the result.

    • RE: My Works-WIP-

Long time without posting. I've been busy like always, making furniture, but unfortunately, I haven't time to render all my works. The first image it's a coffee table for a client, and the second one, an Italian design (misuraemme) for the same client who wanted this exact model.
The books was shared by Teofas with his wonderful scene (thank you Teo)
      Regards,
      Stefan

The image looks great, especially the terrain and vegetation.
How do you like 3ds max? U use it or it's just the connection between sketchup and v-ray for max?

Teo, how can I be upset of you, if I'm your number one fan??? πŸ˜„
Adam, I know something about CG, so I can recognize a great artist, and you are one. It's just....Teo and I have a special bond, since the day we started to learn v-ray. I felt all the time, during that competition, that now is his turn. Congrats for the first place! (and for your job πŸ˜‰ )

      Regards,
      Stefan

😒 I'm sorry Teo. I thought it was a V-Ray competition, not Adobe Photoshop.
