I like it, however here in dallas the local news is reporting some resistance due to privacy issues.

Alias sketchbook pro is a great tool to use with a tablet for getting ideas down.
Tom
I use a tablet for sketching and I have been playing with water color finishes for my doodles, however they have zilch to do with SU and thus no place here to post them.
Do you know another venue for me to post them as i could use your help achieving a water color result similar to yours.
Happy Birthday Tavi....blow out those candles, have a slice of cake, a sip of coke and get back to Podium version 2 already.
...Oh what the heck, take the day off and enjoy yourself.
I guess a jewelery store is out of the question...
I often use exaggerated views for site signage, one of my main investors actually insists in them for when he approaches his bankers for funds, he calls it 'dynamic angles'
I agree about the 'just for fun' one...it will sell the concept quicker than the corrected ones.
Imageshack giving probs again, try this link to Podium post.

Thanks guys, I have resumed work on this model and so far I have used 17 hours and it seems on track. I have textured the buildings (remembering it needs to have a toon feel to it)
I will post again with more details when completed, may be in a week or so as client is pushing the Gaul village for sooner completion.
Remember this is the Crysis engine which is Directx 10, and directx 10 is Vista.
This looks fantastic, all the questions so far have been asked.
I await the flood of Star Wars 'light saber' vidoes....
WOW!!!
I played it over and over....now to pick my jaw up.
The next version of SU could have more tools for creating free form shapes, however if not possible could we have this:
When using the 'resize' tool we get 26 points of manipulation, if it is possible to add more points it would give me better control when manipulating a shape as I require it.
A ruby would work but because the 'resize' option is a major tool I am looking at the SU team to impliment such an option.
On FF homepage "34,000 3D models and growing."
I added my 1000 available models...

I have the Platinum edition and for what I need it works pretty well. I do walk throughts, slide shows and basic product animations. As far as a learning curve goes it's like any video editing software with drag and drop frames, transitions, effects, audio, etc.
Try the demo and see if you take to it's UI and feel comfortable.
