    • RE: [Plugin] ZoomView_dj 2012, July 23

      Hello

Can you please tell me what is the difference between ZoomView_dj and ZoomWindowSelect_dg plugins ?

I can certainly see some obvious differences in that the former allows us to select some viewing parameters (re: Styles etc) but I'm not sure if I'd want One Plugin OR the Other .. OR BOTH Plugins. PS> I'm using Caps for emphasis .. not shouting !

A brief description of the differences/comparisons and/or advantages of either would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks in Advance.
Furthermore, thanks for taking the time to and your skills to create Useful Plugins that you Share for Free.

This is an Excellent Plugin that I would recommend to anyone and everyone who might ever need to create organic shapes such as boat sails and/or tensile roof structures and the like.

It is extremely easy to use and works very well.
The fact that it is Free is also amazing because it certainly does have value and will save you tons of time regardless what you are trying to create with it.

Thanks again so much for sharing this excellent Plugin as well as for continuing to make improvements/updates.

    • RE: [Plugin] Dims/Text/2dText Visibility [dimvis.rb]

      Hi
Is it safe for me to assume that this plugin goes directly into SU's Plugins Folder ?

I have read this thread but didn't notice if:
      a) any other plugins required ?
      b) will this plugin work in either SU v7 and/or v8 ?

This looks like a great plugin and I can't wait to try it out.
Thanks very much for your efforts re: creating this plugin and for sharing it.
And thanks in advance for any further information regarding my questions above.

    • RE: A new home for SketchUp

Well only time will tell whether this is good for us SU Users.
I just don't know if I'll like the "ring" to it if Google also chooses to sell off Google Earth. I mean really "Trimble Earth" ? Sounds like feminine earthquake.

Like many others, I am skeptical about Change until I have a chance to see it in action. However, my experience is usually that of Disappointment. Hopefully, this will prove to be otherwise. But I will give Trimble a fair shot before making final judgement. I'm sure there will be a few humps and hurdles before it's all honky-dory.

PS> I guess I better update to v8 Pro Now while I still might get a discount (currently using v7 Pro).

It appears I don't know how to get both images to upload in the same post ... so here's the other one.

    • RE: [WIP][$] Vertex Edit

Wow .. this looks like it will be a Great Plugin.
I believe it would have been very useful while I was recently working on the "World's Tallest TV Tower".
      http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=f4f38f268729520413f35d47a987b4de

It appears that the modeling might have been simpler, more efficient and easier to make it accurate. While I believe I achieved the accuracy, it would have surely been easier using this plugin.

Keep up the great work. I can't wait to give "Vertex Edit" a try.

I have checked and can confirm I have all the files, folders and sub-folders with files that you have indicated.
I haven't had opportunity to try any of the associated tools yet, but there is a toolbar and everything else appears to still be functioning properly.
I might have to revert back to the other day (somehow) and try re-installing from scratch again.
I wonder if anything got overwritten during the installation.
As mentioned, I installed the LibFredo 6 "After" installing FredoScale 2".... Should it have been installed prior to FredoScale 2 ?
