Hello I am new to SU and was wanting to learn to model a house. i found a tutorial on this site that I am following, though I am having trouble using an image as a reference, as I want it to be as accurate as possible. With that said, I would like to know if anyone is willing to post a dwg or dxf of a floorplan so that I can use to practice my modeling.. Or if you know of a place on the web to where I can D/L one.

Thanks for the reply, I have room sizes that are in my image so I will just use those for reference. If I had a dxf file that would be great but seeing how I am just using an image from the net I dont have one..

If anyone has a dxf or dwg of a floor plan and wouldnt mind me using it for some modeling practice, please let me know.

Hello, I am new at SU and am going through this tutorial for practice. A couple of questions though..

After applying the image as a material, do I need to keep the original image in the drawing or can I delete it?

Also, seeing how we are tracing over and image the measurments of the wall wont be completely accurate, will they?? Seeing how your not snapping to any endpoint or anything...

Thanks, I got it done, will now start working on the legs..I would post a screenshot but its too big to post...

so I gave up on the pool table for the mean time and decided to go with a simple poker table....I have my table top together now just need help putting in the holes for cup holders...the circles seen are not sketchup circles but copied acad objects which in turn turns them into many line segments... How would I go about drawing holes in the table at these locations?? Picture only shows half of table due to size limits for attachments
