I'm saying this, beause here in greece we have not private universities in which i can go and get an architecture degree, and of course uk and usa are too far away from my country and the universities tuition rates are huge there.
So do you guys have an idea how can i get an architecture degree to get me licensed?

RE: Christmas is coming!!!
Why are you lauphing guys? I see stinkies point here. He propably is renovating his house, so this is the corner
of the house he hasn't yet moved his furniture on. On the other hand, with this image he passes a message to us all.
The white wall symbolizes the white snow that is going to fall this winter and how cold and lonely these christmas are going to be for everyone The one-coloured painting (which is modern art), symbolizes how the modern-society has sucked out of the christmas as a custom it's trully meaning. Stinkies not only is trying to renovate his home, but he's creating a number of inner symbols that are going to be enclosed in everyones heart.(lol)

RE: Job
Haha, i understand your point. If i/someone opened an office like that how could he call it (illustrations office, architecrtural design office, design office...etc) any ideas?

RE: Job
Do you mean to get a liscense, to build the building?
You can design the building designs, then go to a civil engineer, check if the designs are ok, and he can stamp them, am i right? -
Job
Hi guys, i don't know if it is the right subforum to post this, but can an architectural illustrator, start his own
company and design his own buildings, not anothers architects designs. Can he do the same job as an architect does and
design his own designs of buildings for each client? What i mean is that if a client wants to build a 7-storey office building, instead of going to an architect, he can go directly to the illustrator and get his designs from him. -
RE: When the sun goes to sleep
Thanks, i don't mind at all with you being critical, it's good to see what the other professional illustrators in this forum think about my work, from their/your critics, i learn. The rendering program i am using is vray for sketchup 6, and i have sketchup pro 7.

RE: Residential Project (wip)
I like the elevator, which moves the car underground and the whole design, but it's too bright. Good job.

The two towers, have a large plaza at their 0 level, how am i going to make that plaza appear without showing the blank space around the plaza?

RE: When the sun goes to sleep

RE: Vray problem
Ok guys, i found what the problem was. I just removed all the textures in the model and the render took only 5 minutes.
Thank you all. Now the question is, how am i going to make the scene look realistic, if all the textures are removed from the model? -
RE: Vray problem
Do you suggest buying the original version of vray for sketchup 7 instead of the 'original' version which my 'friend' has? (hehe...) Would this move improve render process? Oh, and how i remove materials out of groups/components, i just
delete the textures that i'm using in sketchup? -
RE: Vray problem
It's a vray for rhino which in a weird way works in sketchup. It's a plugin. When i go to the about section i fing 'vray for rhino' and no version number. In a weird way it works inside the sketchup program.

RE: Vray problem
Raw vrimage?, what is that? Could you please explain it to me and how can i acheive render results using it? Remember the render window of vray doesn't open when i hit the render button at all. I tried to find out what vrimage meant but nothing, could you help me?

Vray problem
Hi guys, recently i've built a two tower complex with lots of detail (trees, cars, lights ...), but when i tried to render it with vray for sketchup, the render window didn't normally opened as it was supposed to be. I waited fro 2.5 hours but nothing happened? Could you please help me, and tell what's the problem? By the way the file size is 6.4MG, sketchup 7 and vray for sketchup 6.
I see guys in this forum who have in their models lots of detail and accomplish great renders, but this time the render didn't work for me.
Thanks.
