Yes, definitely!

In my suggestion I really meant simple, raw geometry. If you enter into the parent component's context only, then either a right to left or a left to right selection will only select the nested (child) components only.

So I have looked into your linked file and saw that there are only two components within the parent component; the leaves and the stem

Now what you can do, is to enter the context of an instance of each of these two components and do the above operation in each separately.

On a side note; while this shrub seems to be nice, it is etremely high poly and way too big in file size as well. Also, what I noticed, the images on the leaves are cluttered and since the leaves themselves are not instances of the same component, this would be rather tiresome to fix.
This also counts for the very big file size however.

Pretty cool stuff, I see the day when my lost excuse for being tardy will not be accepted.

I like the natural lighting of the second one better. first looks like it's lit with a camera flash. though the second makes me feel like I'm in a dark back hallway - maybe some natural light from a skylight... or a window behind the camera...

Hi Darren, glad to see you are posting on here now since the death of the old SU forums 😄. I'm not really much of a fan of water colours either digital or manually painted tbh and there are far more qualified opinions in this area here than mine but my £0.02 worth would be to try outputing without using the tiled SU grass and build it up manually in PS perhaps with the addition of some grass blades/weed at the intersection of the stone wall. At the moment its just too 'clean' and needs a bit of saturation variation in the tones for me to feel as though it is a watercolour.

no real reason i didnt post the large version, well other than i posted the image whilst at work and did a quick copy and paste job with a small example i had 😆
