    • RE: Rendering software comparison

I stand by my response...absolutely irrelevant. What does this shows is that you are able or rather not able to render with various render engines.

Yes Vray can save alpha image of the render. That is something which is on our to do list in Podium V2

    • RE: WIP - composite materials - Indigo

So it is Metropolis Light Transport. Unbiased rendering takes loooong time to render but it should be accurate. You can always use Ninja to remove the noise if you can't wait for overnight render.

    • RE: External render

yes but you need to reflect something so I would say maybe an image behind the camera or bake reflections in glass. Bumps=bump mapping. That would give more depth to your cladding. I use Kerky not that often so hopefully somebody will chime in with more detailed instructions on how to.

    • RE: External render

I would say: glass reflections and some bumps. On postprocessing you need a bit more contrast as image is little flat.
edit: also it looks unnatural to have light and light sconces under the canopy on a such bright day

    • RE: Easy Podium render...

Just for the record Podium can be faster than Kerky. It depends on presets you use. It is similar to 2 computers using same spec and one is faster than the other. It is all in fine tuning πŸ˜„
