RE: KAPOW! ...and ....PHOOMPH!
Hmmm....I find it strange that you are prepared to let go of the one of the best render artist around there is just like that. I am also of opinion that if is skippy file than it is a fair game.
Scottopara I do not know what you do but reducing rendering to hitting a render button does not show much of the knowledge about rendering. -
RE: Podium light and texture tests
Yes bumpmaps, clipmaps and more. This level of simplicity is really something no other soft can claim. Also Podium is very addictive once you start playing with it.

RE: Model History plugin - Feedback please
This looks like useful script. So if I understood it correctly it will track changes and will allow you to go back to that change, kind of similar to history tab in PS. Is it available to be tested or..?

RE: Lighting Question?
When you say registered do you mean you have registered copy of Podium or registered to forum?
edit: just've seen...you are registered on the Podium forum

RE: Lighting Question?
Hi
I think it would be easier if you post your question on the Podium forum. There are more people who would be able to come with solution. I suggest you post the render with the .skp and preset you use. Bigstick is the guy to talk to about light and light fittings as he is the one who created the bunch of ready mades.

Podium on SU Blog
Podium has appeared on the main SU blog run by Aidan Chopra. Also he has posted couple of renders by HRH King Solo the First. Check it out:

RE: 2D Perspective and rendering?
2point perspective is not supported at moment. However if you wish to render wide lense follow the instruction above. It will allow you to be in the room and see more.
edit: we are looking into 2point perspective. Can't promisse you when it will be implemented.

RE: 2D Perspective and rendering?
Now I am slightly confused. At moment 2 point perspective is not suported.
However if you are talking about wide angle to fit more things in your render you can change FOV (field of view). If you click on magnifier you will get number in your SU VCB.
Change that number to smaller one and you will get wide lense. You can render with any number but 0. If you have value 1 you get something very close to elevation. -
RE: 2D Perspective and rendering?
When you say 2d Perspective do you mean 2point perspective? At the moment there is no difference between eval and full version but size of the rendered images.

RE: Night render
I think the best place is T T & T subforum. There is wealth of stuff there. There are loads of tips and tutorials. Also if you have particular question there are friendly people who are willing to help.

RE: Night render
Boo...your renders are getting better every time...Moody... I like it.
I presume this is Podium -
RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] Sphere Mapping - Help please

RE: Tutorials
The files should be in there. It must be some glitch with installer. Thanks for spotting it. In meantime could anybody missing the .skp files download them from here.
Thanks Alexander for posting those. -
