RE: [Plugin] Projections version 2a UPDATED
Hi Didier!
I can't make your new commands work.
Some quotations from console:
Error: #<NameError: uninitialized constant ProjectCpointTool>
C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Plugins/projection_extension.rb:47
C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Plugins/projection_extension.rb:47:incall' Error: #<NameError: uninitialized constant XLinesThrougLinesTool> C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Plugins/projection_extension.rb:23 C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Plugins/projection_extension.rb:23:incall'Any ideas what's wrong in my case?
And thank you again and again for your contributions. -
RE: [Plugin] extrudeEdgesByEdges.rb
Hi TIG! Instead\in addition to(?) of consistant orientation mode (in the center: extrudeEdgesByEdges.rb) It'd be perfect to get the one of profiles get turned along another one (the right example: push-pull+eraser)
Thanks.

RE: [Plugin] ExtendTool v0.2 (update 20090708)
2009-06-17_0937.swf
I mean something like this.
P.S. BTW how to embed video in the post? -
RE: [Plugin] ExtendTool v0.2 (update 20090708)
A very good intention Matt!
Make it a perfect example of the reverse engenering
:
To select boundary at the beginning and then with window select a bunch of lines to be extended.
Maybe trim with shift could be added?
P.S. And what about extend faces? -
RE: Google maps 2.0 ?
Nice. I think sketchup is slowly becoming obsolete (as a tool for GE\Google Maps filling in). No need
in proletariat for manual work. -
Google maps 2.0 ?
It looks like Google Sketchup killer*:

Sketchup stoped in time about 5-6 years ago, and sometimes i, as a user, even feel i'm the bad guy for wanting it to evolve or at least allow me to do more than the previous version...

RE: Joint Push Pull Classic (Old version) - v2.2a - 26 Apr 17
Hi Fredo!
I thought about some enhacement of the single face JPP. It should respect the adjacent faces (AB and CD keep their directions while BC is moving forward (example 2)). It works in revit and I think it would be great especially in architectiral practice.
P.S. Basicly instead of single BC face there could be any number of faces- it's all about vicinity treatment.
Thanks in advance

RE: [Plugin] [CityGen] - Core [WIP] (0.1.3a) β 19 September 2009
I meant diagonal lines on crossroads. St. Andrew was crucified on X shaped cross. Now it's on the scottish and russian navy flags for example.

RE: [Plugin] [CityGen] - Core [WIP] (0.1.3a) β 19 September 2009
Hi Thomthom! Very powerfull tool indeed- I started to use it for handrailings and curtain walls

2 things:
1/ Could your baby keep last entered values (even more: to remember after the file is closed)?
2/ Are st.Andrew crosses unavoidable?
P.S. 2 threads about the same plug-in (with inner interchangeable links) is extremly confusing thing

RE: [Plugin] Edges drive
I just thought the visual arts are self-explanatory
Well Nomeradona's thesis about "...becoming the most powerful..." just reminded me this ironic\hypothetic(?) scenario of chineese-us (or the WEST if you like) relations. -

what you say is true AcesHigh
yes, I forgot to say, but the main issue is that you are probably a spanish speaker, and I doubt you can speak chinese to talk with the script writers

Since by next year China will have more English speaking people than any other country, perhaps he could try English ? If we knew where it came from perhaps 'we' could try to 'speak' with them ......
or i should say more and more people will learn chinese, since its becoming the most powerful nation in the world. its not just in olympics but now with its economy...mmmmm...

Haven't used fillet.rb, no.
Sounds like this would be a separate new tool. Maybe some of this code can be used for that...
@rv1974 said:
2/ no 0 filleting
Why do you want that? wouldn't that leave everything unchanged?
@rv1974 said:
5/ it works with preselected lines only
How else would it work?
1/ 0 radius filleting is some kind of trim\extend - very powerfull
2/ there should't be nothing wrong to select the tool before geometry -
RE: City Gen and rounding edges [split "off"-topic]
Did you ever used fillet.rbs?
1/ It fillets connected edges only
2/ no 0 filleting
3/ it doesn't work with crosses ( "L" only)
4/ after complaining that something is wrong this tool keep staying.
5/ it works with preselected lines only
You know at the end of this reply I come to conclusion that you have write a good acad like fillet tool

RE: City Gen and rounding edges [split "off"-topic]
Yes there's pretty defective one (imho)

RE: [Plugin] [CityGen] - Street Generator [WIP] (0.5.2a)
It works and it's so tasty. Thanks!
1/ Will it support 0 widht for filleting?
2/ There's wrong result in a simple L turn: inner radius=outer one (I guess it shuld be based on the offset principle) -
RE: [Plugin] [CityGen] - Street Generator [WIP] (0.5.2a)
I have this:
Error Loading File street_gen.rb
