Hey Pixero what software do you use for illustration? If it's not secret, was the first book commercially successful?

      Some imperfections:
I'm very used to entering N in address bar in Firefox and get "new posts" on forums. Now it's redirecting to the main board - not good.
Was really needed to rename New to Recent?
Going from forum to plugin store to download stuff still demands to login once again.
      'Your posts' are gone.
I'd prefer 'edit' pencil button not to be buried in dropbox menu

In the End: I get the best results with renderings. Here: Twinmotion

Rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty still looks best. Diffusion can help you in terms of direction to take with lighting and colour palette. But for a final result I still believe you need human creativity.

But AI will get there and it will be interesting to see how the likes of Vray, D5, TwinMotion etc respond.

These shots are though. Really nice output.

Meanwhile Chaos implemented DLSS 3.5 thing in Vantage - and it it really makes wonders

So far the only use (from all this AI craze) I see is 3D people enhancement in stills.

not yet, but I am trying to get better results with combining different methods. But I am still not happy with it.

Have you tried ComfyUI yet jo-ke? It might help you dial it in but the learning curve is high.

If you are not familiar there is a ton of stuff on Youtube plus theres a great site https://comfyworkflows.com/ where the images shared contain the metadata of how they were made.

What are benefits of Comfy (in comparison to A1111)?

    • RE: FaceUp v1.1.0

      kind of bug found:
if you'd apply summon extruder on a damaged cylinder it'd reverse the back of the faces (area A) on the back - area B is reversed.
Also, is it possible to implement faces as components (insted of groups) with axes aligned to the face plane. Currently they are aligned to the global UCS which is not good (C).
      Thanks

...I know there's a bunch of extensions creating faces from edges (Eneroth Face Creator, a feature from Tools on surface by Fredo6, MakeFaces, etc.), but I needed something slightly different. Summon Faces creates faces oriented to the viewer. That was the only way to make Summon + Extruder work fine:

Oh summon+extruder with extrude 0 is especially useful ๐Ÿ‘
Could you make this command to remember the last extrude value (say 0)?
      Thank you

Why not use the measure tool? That's what it's there for!
And as written, this applies to both measure tools. If I measure a length and I want the result to be retained, I can only use the tool in question.

Because less is more. Line tool delivers the same result without need in extra effort
