Please, tell me how can I get 165 cm high figure/person in the image? I will go back to the yesterday's night project, the cut image was good, but needs to scale to fit with a figure.

RE: Match Photo and axis
I've calculated 4 persons with 165cm height per height of the bridge. This should be correct:

It does not seem as good as should be. I did it in detail. Open my file and check with Orbit the hand of the woman and the edge of pylon (the hand is just beside it). It is very big.

RE: Match Photo and axis
I recalled a plan that bridge (exactly level of the bottom of the door in wall) is in 10m above ground. There is shallow water in this area, so I think door bottom could be 9,5 m above water surface.
Check this - GE

Wait, I will check googleEarth to measure the distance

RE: Match Photo and axis
Thanks. They are from one source. I probably printscreened it. One printscreen was from zoom and one from whole image. I dont remember.
Can you explain the image?

Sandbox IS installed with SU - maybe not enabled. Go to Window > Preferences > Extensions and check its box. Restart SketchUp. Now (if the toolbar is still not active), go to View > Toolbars > and check Sandbox tools.
No, I don't have it there

RE: Match Photo and axis
Oh. Do it like so?
Or more to right? The top is streight (almost), the bottom looks much more skewed.

RE: Match Photo and axis
beginner, I have seen this video 3x times. You can download the file on first post, it contains the photo. Actually I am not sure where is the photo, coz there are many ones
And see last images in my previous updated post.

RE: Match Photo and axis
I think this could unswer it:
Top down view
I drawn triangle instead rectangle and I see the base of the pylon.
The base is skewed
Could it be because that I closed Match Photo window or does it not have effect? I had established axis before starting drawing.
Axis here:

Match Photo and axis
I am trying to draw a pylon but I have problems:

Back view
I have accidentally drawn on bad axis.
I send attachment

RE: Texture
Sandbox is not installed on my PC (i see it not there), can I download it?

RE: Deformation of object
I start the project from point zero. Moderator can close this topic.

RE: Texture
I did it different. Just clicked the icon Add More Imaginary. Is that the same? I think so.
IHO is - that these data are unsusable. The LOD is too small resolution. Do you see that bridge? It should be 10m high and cca 8,5m above water. Incorrect elevation data that is the reason why the model was inaccurate.

RE: Texture
This is what happened to me:
after I clicked the icon. There was the image set but now it is not.

RE: Dimensions
Yeah, but the original image is in grayscale and does not

extra quality
http://i46.tinypic.com/zyf29c.pngIts very blurred and low detail.
This is photo from GE, and much more better quality:

RE: Dimensions
That's what I did, I resized it with tape of sure. Not the raster itself...
This is what I am doing now.

So it's not your model? But it's apparently an existing building, isn't it?
It is imported from 3D gallery (warehouse). Not mine. It is building in Switzerland.

I resized the GE photo
That's not good - at least in case you got the image from the get location function. It comes in with a perfect 1:1 ratio so that's how you should start with.
I have the image from GE, but I had to resize it for meters => it is enlarged. 110m is length of the castle but the image is much more less size.
What do you mean by geolocation?
