 You do need Artlantis version 3, however. It's a new feature.So teach me how to make a material have edges in Artlantis! i've made a screenshot of the settings. 
 it is easy just like the animated water!

 in artlantis, you can make edges like this. So its posible!
 This is a kind of test movie for me. I never make animation at all, so i thought give it a try..
 I dont know how you can move the water. Mabey you can tell me that! 
 i had made different scenes. Each moving scene is 10 sec.
 And for each 10 sec. he made 250 renders.
