RE: [LIP] Sculptris_SimonLeBon
cool! a dedicated forum for organic modelling!
simon, thank you for posting the sculptris/sketchup combo,
i can only get it to work with rounded-corners, i can import a square with
sharp corners too, but when subdivide or just touch it with a brush it "explode"
and can not keep it's shape like you did here:just wondered if you had encounter this problem too before you got it right,
it may be graphic-card issue.. my sculptris crash a lot.anyway, keep up the good work

RE: [LIP] Sculptris_SimonLeBon
hi again... cool that this thread is growing.
i have explored sculptris even more... wow, so intuitiv and fun!i have 1 question to ask and a sculpture to share
question: i wanted to make some basic shapes in sketchup to work on in sculptris,
export as obj(thanks for the plugin TIG) this works fine.
problem starts when i try import anything more complicated than a box into sculptris.
i get: "can't import - has faces with more than 4 corners"anyone know about a work around on that?
and a litle sculpt:

Your Top 3 Plugins ?
Hi sketchUcation
a couple of days ago i downloaded CurviLoft, FredoScale and RoundCorner.
This changed my SU7 to a totaly different 3d-program.
I have played around with su for a year or two but never used a plugin until now.i am amazed.... but theres an ocean of plugins.....
So, i want to ask you all, whats the top 3 plugins you really couldnt live without?
It would help me on my quest getting the absolute most out of Sketchup.Thank you so much.

RE: Photorealistic render with SKP+Kerkythea
i was scrolling down to the first picture only and thinking,
well... its a nice render, but its obvious a 3d model.... so there.anyway, nice model. only crit would be that the springs tilt left on the original
and to the right in your su version. -
RE: [Plugin][$] Curviloft 2.0a - 31 Mar 24 (Loft & Skinning)
