I have a problem with this plugin. Apparently it does not work if the component has already been rotated.
I often drop my components (cars) on a mesh with this plugin, then change the mesh and have to reproject my cars properly. If I just move again my cars above my mesh and use again SmartDrop, the result is not good anymore. I had to reset the rotation of every component before calling the plugin for good result.
Did someone is able to modify the plugin to correct this problem? Or have you a solution to quickly reset the rotation of a component ?

Fais toi des "accroches" en géomètrie cachée que tu peux facilement aligner et afficher/masquer par l'affichage ou non de la géomètrie cachée. Ou sur un calque dédié ...
Pourquoi ne pas utiliser une texture avec alpha pour faire votre grillage ? (comme celle attachée en exemple).
Ca sera moins lourd à gérer et compatible avec un moteur de rendu externe ...
Tu as essaié le plugin ProfileBuilder ? Il est payant pour une somme modique mais il éxiste une version gratuite, il me semble...

De mon point de vue extérieur (je possède Artlantis mais pas Light'up) et de ce que j'ai pu en voir, j'ai un peu du mal avec Light'up ...
J'ai l'impression que c'est juste Artlantis integré dans Sketch'up ... Donc moins stable à priori et pas de version 64bits ...
Je ne connais pas la différence de prix entre les deux, mais si elle n'est pas trop importante, j'aurais une préférence pour une application "stand-alone" qui me permettrais de faire du rendu tout en utilisant Sketch'up à côté ... Light'up peut faire du batch rendering (plusieurs rendus à la suite) ?
Je dois dire que j'aime bien tes dérapages (semi-contrôlés ?) quand tu présentes des plugins !

Ce n'est pas un bug (si j'ai bien compris le problème). Il y a un nouveau réglage dans les styles qui permet de modifier la transparence de la photo en premier plan ...
