      Hmm, perhaps. I made a plugin that converts all faces to components. I think you're looking for something more than that though. Have you looked at Dynamic Components (its built into SU7, its not a plugin)? It sounds like that is what you are asking for. Chris

      Hey, i found the problem - whenever i search for a key word in the shortcut - it doesn't find it, when i input the location of the actual menu it doesn't see it either, but when i put the first letter of a word in the plugin it shows only one function of the plugin (rotate around blue, rotate around red, rotate around green)...it shows up when I put the word re in the search menu, but nothing else works. its a bit odd. I wonder why that is?

      You could try offset.rb While I wrote it to provide standard "flat" offset capability, I noticed it does perform 3d offsets. It may not be exactly what you want, but it could form the basis for a 3d offset.
