    • RE: Camera As an Object

I believe Scott has a plug-in or ruby that will display the camera as an object with the camera field of view shown. I seem to remember seeing it (the graphic representation of a camera) on one of his you-tube videos. Maybe Scott can chime in when he gets a chance.

I've always wanted to collaborate on a project through the internet. If you want to have a look at my website and see examples of my SU work go to:

Chris I've had my gallbladder removed also. After several gallstone attacks I was more than ready. Gallstone attacks are nasty painful events. With Lapriscopic surgery you can be back to normal in only a few days.

Do your best to avoid taking the drugs they are addictive and morphine will make you constipated. Plus I think mentally you get better faster if you just buck up and bear with the pain of surgery. I was back to work the day after my surgery.

    • RE: REQ: Palette docking

Can someone explain to me why we don't have pallet docking and toolbar locking....we are on version 7 now. I think its about time. When I re-size the SU window and then make if full screen again all the tool bars go wacky. This should not be the case. I mean this is fairly sophisticated software and one would assume that a more controllable GUI would just be standard.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...IE if you think its art...then it's art.

if this can be "art" then pretty much anything is fair game:

Employ the common courtesy you seek.......IE just send him a quick email thanking him for using your model to illustrate his rendering skills and ask him if he wouldn't mind attributing the model to you on his website.

    • RE: Procrastination, Distractions, Loss of interest...

Hire yourself to do the work, Give yourself a budget for the work and a deadline. treat it like a real job and pay yourself when it's complete. Do something fun like take out a friend for lunch after you finish the project. That way you can tell your friend that you just finished a project and got paid and wanted to treat them to a lunch. Your friend will enjoy it and want you to do more projects and complete them. You will get to enjoy a lunch with a friend and look forward to it. and at most it will cost you the price of paying for your friends lunch or coffee or beer etc. So tie the completion of the project to something else that you have a desire to do.

I'm imagining a room full of thirteen year old kids Laughing incredibly loud. That proud laugh with each of them patting the others on the back and saying the Italian equivalent of "way cool dude" or "dude did you see the bus crash"...I'm sure you have a handful of students that think your the coolest teacher ever.

Have you tried horizontal stroke marks for the illustration they might counteract the perceived height of the building. The vertical stroke marks seem to over emphasize the height of the building.

here is the info from AVG when I got the virus detection previously:

      Exploit Rogue spyware scanner;"get.virusscanneronline.info/21/bWUwQzE0eDBDMTQ3OWl3MUFORw==";"";"3/24/2009, 9:10:44 PM";"file";"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

Again as I said I got redirected after going to the site so It may be that onceuponawin.com is fine

I've just updated AVG and I'll try the site again later. Need to finish working on something right now.

    • RE: Pure nostalgia for those in their 30s-40s

I clicked on your link and after initially loading the expected website I was redirected and AVG detected a virus threat. To be safe I think you should temporarily delete the link until the site can be thoroughly verified. Anyway I wont be clicking the link again and I'd recommend that others also NOT click the link.

Nothing personal I'm just trying to prevent others on this forum from going to a potentially unsafe website.

Gross....I'd still eat it...but it looks gross. I think the chunks of carrots in the meatloaf are a nice touch and one can rationalize that it's healthy because it has vegetables in it.
