RE: Guggenheim Design It Shelter Competition
Indeed, a well thought through and very nice animation.
At some points a bit too fast - can Windows Movie Maker not help with that? I've never tried.
Also, is the surfboard available somewhere? I've been looking for a decent board but never found any. -
RE: Manhattan sketchup model

Here's a video for those steps.

Chris, excellent movie, i didn't know that we can mirror objects with the scale tool - great stuff!
Also, watching you modeling and talking at that pace makes me jealous and dizzy at the same time! -
RE: Bus shed
Hello!
Very nice render and very nicely inserted into the bkgrd but to me it looks like the scale is off.
If this is a normal 2 lane road the shed and the person are too small. -
RE: Tank Museum UPDATE - new renders
I love the Panther pic!!!
But it looks to me that the background picture's scale is off and that makes the tank look smaller as it is...Still 9/10 render!

RE: College's Dining Hall
Nice render!
My only comment is that i find the floor too "interesting" i could imagine sg more homogeneous and neutral instead of these tiles...
But thats just me. -

RE: Google Building 33
Yeah i heard about Piranesi, i just never saw so colorful pictures coming from there...
I like the lighter tones better, at least on my monitor.I really like this style, i wonder why nobody else commented, they are way above the average pictures posted here...

RE: My House (Soon)
Ok so these bumps make the texture look so good.
How did you do the if i may ask? -
RE: My House (Soon)
I love the grass in the second pic.
Is it just a texture or how did you do it? -

God i hope you are right!
Guys i was wondering how you proceed when you have all the elevation in SU.
I guess you create the flat floor plan and then extrude the walls using the elevation as a reference?Thats all are there other tricks?

RE: Current project - SU & Podium (free trees)

I posted a few images of one of these scenes in another thread showing how I export the SU line work and overlap it in PSP. Anyway here are two images of several still to come of a current project that I am not doing in a total photo real way but rather a more illustrative way.
I have still to do The whole site with all 6 units nestled amongst the foliage with roads, paths, pools etc.
Hi Pete!
Thank you very much for all the palm trees! I use them and i love them!
What is the name of the one with the big leaves (right next to the middle column of the house) have you ever made that one available for the public? -
RE: Modern Chair
Hi Karl, i don't really need a chair atm but i really like the color/mood of the picture you posted.
Is this a style or maybe a render?
