In high school I had sex with my girlfriend on the hood of a cop car in the police parking lot.

    • RE: Bees, maybe a dying species!

I saw a report about the decline in the bee population and they said that if bees were to become extinct humans would follow 5-10 years later. I dont remember where I saw this report but I do know that it was a somewhat reliable show.

    • RE: Line styles

[quote="Gaieus"]At the moment you cannot have different styles mixed in one scene.

Does that mean in SU 7 I will be able to mix styles?

I got hit by a tornado last year. What a mess! There wasn't much damage to the house but the trees...It took a month to get the streets cleared.

    • RE: Line styles

I thought of that or going in and individually hiding the lines don't want but I was hopeing for a way to mix styles mostly due to the fact that I have come across situations in the past where I wanted to do the same, and I'm guessing I will come across it again in the future.

Is there a way to mix line styles? I have a brick wall that I pushed and pulled several of my bricks in or out 1" I like the subtleness of the bricks with the lines turnes off but I want the lines on the rest of the model on. See attacked images and skp.

this is what I want the back of this wall to look like

These lines are too much but I want the lines on the rest of the model

When you go out to a construction site of a building you have already modeled and realise your model is better than the real thing.

    • Segments in a curve

I have som lines imported from cad and I'm having trouble adjusting the segments of the curve in the ellipse. As you can see it currently has 24. I need many more for it to look correct but SU will not let me change this. Could someone have a look for me?

      Thanks in advance

OK, now I'm having trouble attaching it. I'm getting an error saying my file is too large. I have double checked and its only 30kb

      Modelhead

I like that idea, however it seams you would need to know the exact dimentions of the beam prior to ajusting in PS. I have several different beams wich I dont know exact dimentions of yet. Also, how would you get the exact dimentions into PS. For example if one of my beams were a spline curving say 30' radius in one direction than curving with a 40' radius in the opposite direction. How would I translate these dimentions in PS?

Anyone have a suggestion on how to curve a texture? I have a glue lam beam that I would like to curve the texture on to follow the curve of the beam. See attached.

    • Help with new laptop

I recently got a new laptop and I haven't had much time to get it set up the way I want it.
I just tried opening a model I have had been working on for a while on a different computer and now it's EXTREMELY slow. It's a huge model with tons of complex geometry but I know this new machine has a whole lot more power then my other machine. I need a little help setting this up.

I have an Intel duo core 2.2ghz processor, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS, Vista OS.

I have seen people mentioning open GL in other topics but I have no idea what that is or what it does. Is there something else I need to turn on or off for better performance? (forgive my ignorance, I am not very computer suave, which is why I am turning to you guys for little help.)

      Thanks in advance
      Jeff

P.S. This is a model I asked for help on awhile ago and now that it is complete I would love to post it and hear some feedback.
