Is this what you are thinking of?
I am trying out the new plug artisan, that took about 30 seconds.
(forgot to round the edges of the brick)
Plan to buy it, it is amazing.

This is a very useful Ruby. THANK YOU for the time and effort to create it. I currently have use for it but am having a little difficulty.
I have drawn a stage with several sets of trusses, there are different light fixtures mounted to it that I am attempting to rotate and animate.
I have mastered setting the axis properly for rotation and I can get a small set to rotate together. The problem I seem to be having is with nested and mirrored components and groups.
I have seen it mentioned to explode things to get it to work-- my question is down to what level? Like bombed apart and completely un-grouped?
My rigging is
The truss is a component (doesn't move) then there are several fixtures each with a component of a Yoke (pivots) and light (Pivots). (going to pivot on 2 axis) All the parts that move together have a unique component name to accommodate changes in the component.
I am banging my head on this one and I am sure it is something simple.
Thanks for any advice.

When I was in high school i experimented with a technique he used of spraying oil based paints on to water standing on watercolor paper. When the water evaporated, the paint would create an interesting pattern on the paper. If you hit the water hard with the spray paint, the water would be displaced so you could get spots where the paint went on differently. Neat effect. I used to use it for skies and water backgrounds for subjects that were drawn or painted by hand. Now with a scanner in the house, it would be a way to get some unique background images for things like your airships.
Like this?

I like the one with the Roger Dean painting.
While I was looking for Roger Dean art I came across something I hadn't heard of.
The Supossed non-credited connection between the art of Roger Dean and the look of the film Avatar.

Great job!
The model even has a 70's movie feel to it.
I did a little messing around with these models, rendered then smoke and cheezy laser in Painter.
I need to stop rendering and finish the models
Thanks folks, I am working on another but am running out of free time.

Another ship!

Just for fun,

Donยดt know anything about his writing skills, but he would surely make a hell of an children's book artist!
That would be a heck of a lot of fun!
It was recommended to me to look at Miyazaki, he does similar stuff but in anime style.
I forgot how friendly this place is, thanks for the encouragement.
Thanks for the feedeback, it was fun to model.
It is kind of steampunk. Love the aesthetic but not sure about the freaky people who do it for a hobby.
Solo it doesn't like you horse
Long while since I posted anything. I recently saw an interesting print by the late Andrew George Brown for sale on Etsy. With all the snow we have had, I spent some time over the weekend modeling this ship.
Copious use of Tools on Surface and Vector Push Pull and UVTools, thank you Ruby Masters

But where did you get the templates from (black-white-pictures of these houses)?
Can you share the source please? I really would like to model a house like these ones.
I returned the book to the library, it was a pattern book from the 1880's. I will try and find the name for you, will also try and dig up some similar links.
EDIT: Here you go forgot about this gem

Those poor windows are going to get blown out.
Digging the deconstruction.
Humbling attempt at people. I tried with face me people but it was easier in PS.
This is going to take a few tries.
Solo's horse looked so nice I zooted him up a Broham Coach,(need to fix the color black was too black) also added a early car 1908 Duryea, other horse was from the 3D warehouse, looks good from far away.
