I've tried the tool out and it does a good job, but it would be great if you could select multiple faces as the destination face or whatever you'd call it - like a wall meeting a gable roof.

Push/Pull to a Face
Is there a way or plug-in that would allow me to pull a face and make it stop at a face (one that's not parallel to the face being pulled)?
I'm trying to find a faster way to trim walls to a roof. It would be nice to draw the roof and have the footprint of the walls extrude until it meets the roof (creating an angled top face on the walls).I know I can pull it past the roof and use intersect but the last step of deleting everything is too time consuming and usually leaves open faces that need to be fixed.
I tried Booltools, but it's not quite what I need either.

RE: Face Creation Problem
I appreciate the feedback - working with SU can be a little tricky (surprisingly) from time to time.

RE: Face Creation Problem
Hmmm...it appears that restarting SU fixed the problem.
Sorry for wasting your internet!

RE: Face Creation Problem
A little more info...
I extruded the messed up face with push/pull and the new face on top of the extrusion looked OK as shown in the top image.
I then drew a closed shape on that face and that created a broken face again (bottom image). I extruded the new face and once again, it seemed fine. Is there something about this shape that SU doesn't like or is a setting or something messed up? Very frustrating.

Face Creation Problem
I'm having trouble getting SU to recognize a face properly. The only thing I can think is happening is that the lines aren't completely coplanar, but I traced an imported DWG file all from the top view and can't see how that would have happened. Also, when viewing from the front (or any side) no elevation changes are visible. If they aren't coplanar, it's off by an unnoticeable amount.
I double clicked one of the lines on the outer profile and used "Create Face" after deleting all the faces that had been created while drawing.
Is there a way to fix this or check to see if the lines are coplanar, or should I redraw and try again?
You can see on the lower portion of the image that the face goes outside of the profile.
Thanks!

RE: [Plugin] Component Spray Tool 1.3.
I get an error when SketchUp starts:
Error Loading File compo_spray.rb C;/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins/compo_spray.rb;1; no .<digit> floating literal anymore; put 0 before dot RBS1.0 ^ C;/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins/compo_spray.rb;1; syntax error RBS1.0 ^ C;/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 6/Plugins/compo_spray.rb;1; Invalid char `\030' in expression
Any ideas? I'd really like to try this out.
Thanks!
