Sketchup 7 opinions
Hi all
It's been a while since i last wrote here!
I've searched the forum but i've not found a SU7 opinions thread... Am i wrong?
Well i'm using SU 6.4 pro right now, and i use it to design buildings and photovoltaic power plants, is it worth buy SU7 pro?
Maybe it would be interesting even some kind of pro/con list

Importing a .dwg file
Hi all
This morning i've tried to import a .dwg file but nothing was displayed in SU...
Every single autocad block was ignored as i've read from the pop-up window displayed at the end of the importing process...
Does anybody knows why that happened? I've previously imported other .dwg files successfully so there must be something wrong in this one...Bye bye - Ciao

Just a bit of playing around using justin's rigging hack:
Serious kudos to justin btw. It made my brain hurt thinking about how to get this to work, it must get pretty tricky with proper models.
Hi Remus
What do you mean saying such a thing? Who is justin? Have I missed something?Bye bye - Ciao

RE: Second SU serious work
Hi kevsterman
First of all, thanks for the compliments and for the rendering program tip.
I've put a person in the middle of the scene so you can understand what a badass photovoltaic power plant it is.Each photovoltaic module is 166,3 X 99,8 cm (65,5 X 39 in), so it's huge.
Bye bye - Ciao

RE: How to rotate something...
@ Pilou
This is a good question... I'm also interested in this thing... Which program should I use to rotate my components in a realistic way for a movie presentation of the power plant?
Btw when I opened this thread I was focusing on simple drawings movements, but you have started an interesting topic
Bye bye - ciao
