    Hi all
Ok guys this is a 105 kWp one axis solar tracker photovoltaic power plant.
It is located on about 1 acre (0,4 hectares) of flat land.
I hope you like it... I haven't used any rendering programs cause i still don't know how to use them... 😳
(Can you sggest me a simple rendering program i can start working with? thanks)

exceptionally good texturing. and I like it how you put some plants arround the "feet" of the panels.

extraordinary images for sole SketchUp output!

It would be interesting to put a person in there somewhere to give it a sense of scale. How big are those panels?

          Good images tho πŸ‘

Oh and if your after an easy to use rendering programme, you can't get much simpler than Podium which runs inside SU itself. http://www.suplugins.com

              Hi Maverick83

You've done a first class work on yours pictures. Do you really need to render them
              they 're pretty perfect.

I know how frustrating it is to get no back posts.

Ben fatto, secondo me è meglio così che non "renderizzato".

                  Hi kevsterman
First of all, thanks for the compliments and for the rendering program tip.
I've put a person in the middle of the scene so you can understand what a badass photovoltaic power plant it is. πŸ˜„

                  http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/8569/defjq2.th.jpg

                  Each photovoltaic module is 166,3 X 99,8 cm (65,5 X 39 in), so it's huge.

                      Hi Julius
Yes, it will be built (at least i strongly hope our client will accept our project) in Italy.
                      I'm glad you like it.
Ah yes, another thing: if you wanna a photovoltaic power plant please contact me πŸ˜„

I agree with plot-paris, very good choice of textures.
It is a very nice looking model you have created and quite different to what is normally shown here.

                          Nice work πŸ‘

i use kerkythea. but i think to start rendering also podium and indigo are good.

the thing i like about kerkythea is that is really powerful and it's free. podium is good, but i think the highest resolution for the free version is 500x500.

Is Kerkythea more complex than Podium?

i think so, but i'm not sure since i've used podium only a few times. podium is a plugin for SU, while Kerkythea is a separate application.

Thanks for adding the person, Maverick. That really is going to be a beefy powerplant. I wish we could have plants like that over here in the UK. When I see all the huge expanses of wasted rooftops out there it just saddens me that we don't utilise them and help our environment.

I've only ever used Podium as a renderer so I can't comment on the others like Kerkythea but I've seen its output and they have been impressive. Altho the free version of Podium does have a limit to the resolution size, it isn't an expensive programme to buy and it is incredibly easy to use and learn. In my opinion it is well worth the money.
