there are different problems , first of all : when i changed the sky color all the acene was too cool colored... !!!
2nd: the light is not as the real world and i dont know what is the problem
3 the boat cloth is not real at all ( i'm working on it)

hi folk . here is my last work , using a model from 3dwarehouse ( Middeleeuws huisje deel 1.skb ) , re textured , pupulated and rendered using kt . and then retuchinf whit PS.
which color set , light , attention point is your desired?

i tried KT Brush over a bush i separately inserted and merged whit a leaf, and here is the draft render result , maybe it is good for mid-distance foliages . u may improve this idea using flowers ... bushes , trees ...or people ..

really good and true poit u have . btw kt is more easy to use and good result 4 me (and i guess other who r new in 3d rendering!) . thanx again Fletch

the important point is that keep some part textures ( architectural parts) and ignore and loose work on other areas... what do u suggest about?

the hard part of the work is simulating human smartness! human knows were to loose or tight work ( i.e trees r ignored to be detailed by the man ) .... btw if good texturing in SU = good result by PS action ... .very well done! really nice job u did!!

just save it on ur pc . (unzip if zipped) .then u must have *****.style file. copy it to one of your style subfolders ( in syle folder of G sketchup).... njoy
