Yes, maybe too much orange
Here's another one with different color...
I added a plant from the Solo's Garden Pack. It brings life to the scene

hi everybody
Here's my current wip.
I learned a lot with sketchup : projection texture, books, and the bumps on the sofa
Here is two images of the same scene, one during the day and the other during the night.
The night scene was no easy to setup. I have only one light source. I spent a lot of time playing with the light parameters....and I'm not convinced.
Maybe I should add some plants.....I think I'm going to buy the very nice Solo's Garden Pack...but, I'd like to try making some plants myself.
What do you think ?
P.S. The John Lennon poster has been found on the web. It's not my creation.
Very nice.
Did you work only on the design or are you also going to work on the real robot that (maybe) will be sent to the moon ?

Looks nice, but how about the rendering time? It is better?
Yes ! The render time is faster. Thanks very much stafanq.
Hi everybody,
Here is another render of the same image.
I added a glass door and fix the problem with the transparent bottle. In the last render, it was solid. Now, it is more realistic.
This image has been rendered using the "visopt" configuration provided by stefanq.

Luis
Thank you for your help
I will try your settings and post another render.

Luis
Hi teofas.
Very impressive renders !
I'm working every with SKP/VRay. My goal is to create final renders like yours (i'm very very far ).

Hi,
My settings are almost the default settings.
Use GI, turn Off Default Lights.
Primary/Segondary engines : IM / DMC
The only setting that I have modified, is the DMC Sampler. I increased the "Subdiv Mult" from 1 to 20 to get more realistic shadows...but I think, this setting also increase the render time.
I Have only one rectangular light (with default settings), placed outside on the right of the image.
No bumps, neither Displacement.
Only reflection on the wood (with Reflection Glossiness 0.8) and objetcs.
That'all.
I don't remember exactly, I think this scene has been rendered in about 30 minutes. I tried to add more objects, and the render time increased significaly.
1 hour is too much for me. It's for that reason I'd like to buy a Tesla card (with about 200 PCUs) for very fast renders. This kind of card is very expensive, that's why I'd like to know if "Vray for Sketchup" is compatible with the Tesla Cards (NVidia). I know, it is compatible with VRay for 3DSMax.
Best Regards,
Luis
Hi Ramy,
Your renders are very realistic. I like !! Very good job.

Hi xrok1,
Yes, the clear bottle is a solid glass. I'll do it better.
Thank you.

Luis
Thanks,
I'm using VRay....but my render time are very long ! Currently I'm using a Dual core.
I'd like to buy a Workstation with a TESLA card (about 200 CPUs), but I don't know if this kind of card is compatible with VRay for Sketchup.
Sometimes I need to increase the DMC subdivs to get more beautifoul shadows..but this increase the render time.
Hi all,
Here's my last render. Just for fun. I'm trying to create amazing interiors.

Luis
Hi Crazy Eyes,
Very nice and realistic work.
I've one question : the pillar is on the neighbor's property ?
Good day Matteo,
This is a very nice work. I love the first one.
Just one question, normally, the walls are white, aren't they ?
Very nice render rcossoli.
I am a fan of foto. it's a hobby. I like this kind of images.
Luis
Hi,
Awsome ! Very nice atmosphere.
But...I agree Aidus, the carpet is not realistic.
