Nice motor.
I'd like to see it rendered, with chromes, ... are you planning to render it ?
If you need a shock absorber....

Hi Luis, I would be very interested to know how you did model the spring!
Great rendering, by the way; V-Ray is the best.
Hi Carrozza,
Modelling a spring is not difficult.
I simply found the solution on Google SketchUp Warehouse. There is a lot on good stuff there.

Good day everybody,
Here's a render just for fun. I was learning how to build springs, and I finally did a shock absorber.
The modeling is not perfect, but I like the result (anyway I have to improve it).
Very nice modeling and rendering. I'm a fan.
We can see the Formula 1 nose. Good idea !
Hi,
Beautiful render.
The only thing I don't like are the windows and the ouside (trees). I like the light. It reminds me an early morning.
Nice render, maybe a litlle bit flat.
These chairs look like the ones used in the official Vray course.
Thanks for your replies.
Good link !(http://www.rccrawler.com). A nice place for inspiration.
Hi everybody,
I've not been here for a longtime. I was very busy with my job.
Today, I was trying to build a crawler...and it was difficult (I'm a newbie). I finally found the solution. So, here is a piece of my creation (I'm very proud, I want to show it to the entire World..or at least, to the Sketchucation world ).
Here's my Monster Car :
Hi Coen Naninck,
I'm very sorry. Thanks for the advice.

Luis
Hi everybody,
Thanks again for your comments.
I'm using SU + VRay.
First, I render the final image + exported a "Hidden Geometry ON" image without render.
In Photoshop, I mixed the different layers and played with the blending options.
I hope this will help you (sharwe). Otherwise, I can send you the PSD file.
Regards,
Luis
Thanks Solo,
The Simple locker and the basic lamp are great
Hi samprocess,
I'm a inginner, but not mechanic ingineer. (I'm a mail and system ingineer).
Here is a funny pic...Sketchup compressing 3DSMAx.
This render will be the last one in this thread.
Thank very much BubbaLove and James for your quick reply.
I'm going to do some tests...
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to apply a texture on a curved surface, but the result is not as espected (see the screenshot below).
Is there a way to do it better ?
Thanks,
Luis
Thanks tom,
Your trees are fantastic
