what AA-settings did you use? Looking at the cars I feel Artlantis can do this better than it looks here.
The windows look a little bit artificial to me. Maybe darkening the surface a bit might help ... in a kind of blue-gray if you like them to reflect the sky. Or playing with the other parameters for glass-shaders...
Beside that you did a good start with your first Artlantis render, to my mind.

I totally agree. This is the one feature, I am missing each and every day in SU. Being able to scale a window/door/whatever-component without scaling the frame thickness for example, would be so much time-saving...

wie fast immer in SU gibt es wohl auch hier mehr wie nur eine richtige/geeignete Vorgehensweise. Ich habe mir angewöhnt, prinzipiell alles, was ich zeichne, in Gruppen oder Komponenten zusammenzufassen und diese so in Layern zu organisieren, dass die Modelle handhabbar bleiben. Also z.B. Komponenten für die Außenwände, die einem Außenwand-Layer zugeordnet werden, analog für Innenwände, Böden, Decken usw. So lassen sich einzelne Modellbereiche über die entsprechenden Layer sehr leicht ein-/ausblenden, und die Organisation in Gruppen/Komponenten sorgt dafür, dass sich Bauteile nicht gegenseitig beeinflussen.
In der Praxis ist meine Modellorganisation noch ein wenig komplexer gestaltet, aber basiert letztlich genau darauf: Komponenten/Gruppen für alle Bauteile, Layer für die Steuerung der Sichtbarkeit/Nicht-Sichtbarkeit.
Eins noch: Die eigentlichen Grundformen, die gezeichnet werden, also Linien, Flächen, Bögen, Kreise etc. liegen bei mir immer auf dem Layer0. Nur die daraus gebildeten Bauteilkomponenten/gruppen werden in andere Layer organisert.
Wie gesagt, eine unter sicher mehreren möglichen Methoden, die Modelle handhabbar zu halten.

I experienced the same with ATi HD 2xxx series cards... not the best solution to use with SU...
For my new machine I chose a Nvidia Quadro (FX2500 / 512MB). It works perfectly for SU.
Thanks for the style description used for the floor plan. That was exactly what I needed tonight to satisfy my very first client

The misty effect was not done with the SU implementation but in the Artlantis software where you have more parameters to control the foggy look. Hope one day there will be a rain effect implemented, too...
By the way, the learning and experimenting phase will never end, I feel... 'cause it's so much fun...
