Try turning on Hidden Geometry. That will make some of the bad stuff show. It might just be easier to start over on the model.

This is the assumption that is making you stall. A lot of plugins are not accessed from the Extensions Menu. Some of them are contextual, like this one; Some of them are inside other menus, like Fredo's usually are inside tools; Some are accessed by Toolbars; Some are accessed when singing to the right rithm; Some of them are not accessed at all and only show up on an event, Like componente flag, wich only pops up when you edit a component; Etc...
