Thanks for the explanantion David. Love them, can't explain how good #1 and #2 are. The lighting, feel and subject of them really appeal to me. Have you ever done a tutorial for your images?

    • SU icons gone blank

      Hi chaps,

It's not a big deal, but it's been annoying me for a few days now ..

I recently re-installed SU and for some reason the icons went 'all white' - any ideas how I can get them back?

      Thanks. ๐Ÿ˜„

    • Creating terrain from site plan

      Hi all,

Just wondering if you can point me in the right direction....

I'm helping out someone who designs outdoor spaces. She has a particularly tricky piece of terrain which she would like modelling. She's managed to get hold of the .pdf of the topo survey for me (the .dwg isn't forthcoming unfortunately) so I've scaled it up and started modelling the area.

I'm now just wondering the best way to model the terrain. I can obviously extrapolate the spot heights upwards (there's not too many), enter the correct height and then use sandbox.

But is this the only way? Doing it this way gives very sharp and un-terrain edges to the surface which isn't ideal.

      Many thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ˜„

A really nice and clean model, well done.

P.s. Bungalow must mean something else in Romania? Here in the UK it almost always means a single storey dwelling.
