RE: Beckford's Folly
Wow, John, I actually think you might be insane. Is SketchUpaddiction a known disease?!
Seriously though, this is great.
Out of curiousity, I would love to see the .skp file.
Merry Christmas mate, and thanks for all the brilliant images you have posted. They always inspire me to model.

RE: Airplane tutorials?
That good knowledge you have there NT, very impressed.
Thanks for the links, both seem great resources.
I guess I need to find out which of the Stirlings crashed, seems likely it was a Mk1 or a MkIV. I may contact the guys on the links you have kindly provided as can't seem to find anything on the web.
Thanks again, I will be sure to post up my WIP on the gallery (if its good enough, which is my no means certain!)

RE: Airplane tutorials?
Hey guys,
Thanks very much for your comments, much obliged. I think I must blink at the wrong time when searching, I never seem to come across what I'm after! Thanks again though, I will be sure to check out all of the links.
Numbthumb, extra thanks to you for the advice, also, I;ve actually got my eye on modelling a Stirling Bomber. There was a WW2 RAF base next to my grandad's house, and he always used to tell me about how on one night in October, an unfortunate Stirling came down along the main street in his village killing all the crew and his friend, who was the postmaster. Incredible story and its stayed with me for a long time. Found some images of it on the-blueprints.com (here: http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/ww2planes/ww2english/42608/viewsingle/short_stirling/) and hopefully they will be good enough to model from.
Cheers.

Airplane tutorials?
Fancy giving myself a bit of a challenge over christmas, and want to model a WW2 bomber. I usually model buildings and the like so want to gen up on my other skills before attempting such a project. I'm sure I've seen some good airplane modelling tuts on here, but can't for the life of me find any.
Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks, and sorry to be a pain.

Is there a way to set Sketchucation to open any links in a new window, rather than in the current one?
It's been bugging me since I joined up, determined not to suffer in 2012.

I had problems, after installing M2, as you described only with the roofing deck tools. I downloaded it, and re-installed, and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
I have downloaded the paneldivide.rbs with no luck. Did you re-install the whole 1001bit package?

But this is the question for the 1001bit's author.
I've emailed the author, will repost any responses. Thanks for your replies.

Do you have the Ruby Console open while trying to use it? It might show errors that could give a clue
Hi Rich, sure, Ruby output below:
loading C;/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 8/Plugins/1001bit/paneldivide >> 0 Error; #<NameError; undefined local variable or method `launch_1001bit_paneldivide' for main;Object> (eval);367;in `gh_mnu_paneldivide' (eval);899;in `load'

Do you have a new M2 version of SketchUp?
I do. And after thinking about, that's the thing that's changed since it did work.
Thanks.

1001bit problem
Evening'
Anyone else having problems with 1001bit tools?
For some reason 'divide selected face into panels' has just suddenly stopped working. Use it quite a lot for my windows. Anyone any ideas?
All plugins are up to date, I've checked the 1001bit forum and there's no new patches or anything.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee
{EDIT} For clarity, all of the other functions work, and when I click the 'panels' button, simply nothign happens.

RE: Frinton-on-sea
Lovely stuff John, as always.
Do you have an online repository for all of your renders? Would be brilliant to see them all in one place.
