I was thinking the same, Dermot-san.
I finished mines, it was a bit harder than I thought. I had to use follow me and intersect with model a lot here, the visor I had to use the move tool and the finishing touches with the scale tool. No plugins (except weld for ease).
This is not really beginner stuff, and the plan is not accurate either.

Theres a plugin called SU animate that does just that, if you are willing to spend a few bucks.
I'm currently looking for a different alternative for your problem, a way to assign a different transition time for each scene to make turns more "smooth".
Finally theres Chris's camera recorder plugin where you can walk around corners and everywhere yourself, you need another program to convert the data export into a video file though.

Yes I am impressed too, my sketches that I make with a pencil is not as good as Eric's.

How about trying using labica's figure up model parts?
They may not have any hair, but their still good. BTW you can also pose them.
I'm starting to think that people around here haven't got a proper dose of manga&anime and too much american comics, a manga head should look like a normal persons head but with drawn facial features.
