Hi guys. I have a question for you. Have any of you experienced an error when checking for updates for plugins? I have mine set to check every 15 days. Now it's telling me it can't open the location to check. I have attached a file showing what the error message looks like.

Hello again guys and gals. Let me just jump right in. Is there a way to rotate a viewport in Layout? Say the default angle of my drawing is 4 degrees off of true north. Is there a way to rotate the view 4 degrees?

Hello again all. It's been a while. I've come seeking the wisdom of the sages. My question is: Why would sketchup give me a volume that is nowhere NEAR what it really is??? Here's the situation: I have a solid that measures 6719.228 sq. ft. on a face. It's 6" deep. That SHOULD give me a volume of 40,315.368 cubic feet. When I do a entity info on it, it says it's only 3359.614 cubic feet. WHY??? ANY thoughts would be welcome.

Hey y'all. I need some help. For whatever reason, LibFredo6 plugin is starting to crash Sketchup. (Yes I know it's this one because I systematically went through and tested sketchup with each plugin I have.)Anyone know a fix for it?

Now that I think about it, it MAY be something that it activates. All I really know is that if I delete it, Sketchup doesn't crash. But then I can't use curveloft and whatnot. ANY help is appreciated.

Hello again y'all. I have yet another quandry that I need help with. I'm trying to preview a model in GE and it creates the file, but the model doesn't show up. It says it's there, but I can't see it. The file is pretty large (114MB). Would that have anything to do with it?

Hello again. I have a burning question. Is there a way for sketchup to tell you how many of a member (say a structural member from engineering toolbox) and get a LENGTH from it (without actually having to pull a dimension). I know outliner can keep track of each member, but can it tell you a length?

Yeah. It seemed to work on a smaller file. I just didn't know if file size had anything to do with it.

Hello everyone. I'm Karl. I've recently had the "pleasure" of becoming my company's resident Sketchup go-to guy. I'm trying to make sectiion cuts of a plant site I designed. I can get SU to export the file, but when it converts it into a DWG, there are lines missing. Any ideas why? ANY help is GREATLY appreciated.
