That is pretty cool, Brandon. I like it a lot.
Looks like it could be used for a video game.
Keep it up.

Awesomamazing work!
Can you be my master, please?
Waiting to see people on this scene...
LOL, thanks for your comment, Roberto. I don't know if I can call myself a master. You do have some cool stuff too and there are a bunch of sketchup users in this forums who have terrific Sketchup modeling skills and could therefore be Masters of Sketchup. I think everyone can model the way I do. It's just a matter of patience and practice, practice and practice.
I will keep on working on the fantasy architecture after I finish the EVE contest that is due in 3 weeks. http://news.deviantart.com/article/128272/
Here are the latest WIP: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=27030
Thanks and have a great one!

Liam: Hope you can make it. Would love to see what you can come up with.
Here are some more images.
Have a nice one,

Really nice renders, Rich. Love them.
Keep them coming.

Thanks, Dolph.
So here are some more WIP I did last night. I will try to post some each day till it's finished.
Thanks for visiting,
_KN

The little dots you see here are the human scales (1.8m). Yep, that space ship is huge. This will be my biggest model. The length is 1km.

By the way, how did you texture the rolls of architectural prints?
Again, fantastic work and best of luck!
_KN
Hi Teo,
Same comments I made in the Vray forum. Awesome renders!

Good luck.
_KN
Very nice, Kevin.
could you please post a sketchup screenshot? thanks.

Hi all,
So I mentioned in my other thread that I have stopped working on the two fantasy architectural interiors to focus on the EVE Online -Create a Starship contest http://news.deviantart.com/article/128272/. Thanks Liam for letting me know. More sleepless nights ahead but it will be worth it. The prizes are so sweet.
I started the model a few days ago. I have less than 3 weeks and working on it a few hours at night, I hope I will finish it on time.
Thanks for visiting and have a terrific day!

Hi everyone,
@ alvis: thanks for your comments.
@ Jacques/silver shadow: Coming from you, it's quite a compliment. I am glad you like my work. You too have some really nice models and great renders (Titanic, helicopter, architecture stuff).
These are personal projects, but they are similar to the things I do at work that are for the game/movie industries. The older sketchup projects were done for the MMO game Gods and Heroes back in 2006/2007.
I wish I can post some of my current projects from my current company http://www.trionworlds.com/en/someday.
@ dolphus: Thank you, Sir. Welcome back to the gallery forum.
@ pilou: bonjour et merci pour le link de Versailles. It is quite a fantastic piece of architecture. I have been there a long time ago. So much memory. Thanks for sharing.
Ok, so here are the latest renders from last week. I added some more details, fixed the ceiling, replaces the sculptures with statues.

I have to stop working on both the interior temple and this interior hallway for the next few weeks as I have started a new model for the EVE Online -Create a Starship contest (http://news.deviantart.com/article/128272/. Thanks Liam for letting me know. More sleepless nights ahead but it will be worth it. The prizes are so sweet.

Awesome!
Merci Fredo.
Bonne journee.

Pretty cool, Dolph.
Where you on vacations or something?
Have a great week!

Really awesome stuff, alvis.

I am also interested in seeing the screenshots of the Sketchup models without textures. Thanks.
Best,
_KN
Thanks for your comments, Michalis, Jarynzlesa, Oliver, Liam, Roberto, and Jhuman.
@ davesec: yes, I am using Vray. Tutorials?...honestly, I am a beginner at Vray. I am just using simple lights and changing their colors and intensity. It's a trial and error by making tons of renders till i get the result i want. It's quite time consuming.
If you want to learn Vray, I would suggest to visit the Vray forum:

Here's the latest WIP.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks TIG and Chris.
Have a good weekend.

Currently you can get a full face and edge count. But you want a little more than that, is that what your asking? You would like too see specifically tri faces and quad faces only? What about faces that are mor than quad faces?
Hi Chris,
Yes, something similar to this in Maya:

You said we currently are able to see a full face and edge count. How do you do it?
Thank you,
_KN
Hello guys,
@ TIG: What the hell are you talking about???
LOL
@ Rich: I want to see the polygon count right in Sketchup so I don't have to export back and forth between 2 programs.
@ Jeff: I agree with you. LOL
Thanks,
_KN
Hi there Masters of Plugins,
Does anyone know if there is a plugin that shows me the polygon count (quad and triangle faces) when clicking on the model? If not, could someone please write it for me?
Thank you very much,
_KN
Wow, that's pretty cool.
Who would think that Sketchup could do such a thing with a few click of the mouse.
