Chip, I was attempting to do my own version of your model and came up with this:
Tell someone "that was made in sketchup" a year ago.

Incredible!
Have you ever thought of doing a time lapse video?

PM your addy, I will send it your way (note I used high poly spheres so file size may be a tad high)
Thanks a lot!
Wow! That's incredible!
I'm probably way out of line here, but...
would it be too much to ask for the model?
I have a little problem with Bevel and components...
that aside, this script is incredible!!! )
Probably this one (even though hardly any of the models are mine )
If they didn't cut it, the diamonds would look like this
As oppose to this
You've gotta be kidding.
They don't even offer this (much needed) feature in Blender, C4D, or mudbox.
Awesome work!!
If it's really important, I usually just do it by hand (follow-me).
But, most of my models (now) only get modeled to be rendered, in which case I use Kerkythea's beveling.
hmm... alright, but we can't just post any old model. Should be a model that incorporates every possible minute detail to see how different rendering engines handle different attributes.
-A variety of different materials glass, metal (aluminum / chrome), wood, plastic, ect.
-A surface to test bumpmapping
-soft shadows / hard light / spots / omnis / sun
-self illumination / lamp shades / translucency
-sub surface scattering
-reflections / specular stamping
-many different textures to add a material to later
-a good model, high poly with a lot of detail, but not too high
You get the drift.
Maybe a kitchen? Or a simpler scene like a chair and a shelf with a lot of nick knacks?
Thanks for the reply .
I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be free... but I know how hard you've worked very hard on this and I'm sure I speak for everyone on the forum when I say I'll be willing to pay whatever the cost for an incredible plugin like this!
Just wondering, Whaat... how much will this plugin cost (if anything)?
Dylan: I wish I could take credit for it The model was made by Nerow. I just needed a few things to fill the spaces in the shelf (I probably should have credited it in the first post ).
Thanks, Boo
Whaat, you are a genius!!
Thank you SOOO much for taking so much time in developing this plugin. I can't wait for the release
Thank you SO much! This is extremely helpful!!

This proves once again that one doesnt need to use high end apps to produce perfect images.
We believe that KT is a high end application...
I think he meant something that doesn't cost $4000 (cough 3ds max cough)
But high end in terms of quality, absolutely!
