i use:
SKP 2020.02 (actual version of 2020)
macOS 10.15.7

I think my issues appeared after the install of
the sketchucation tools version 4.

If Garbor could send me a link, or better he post the link here.
maybe at post #1: link for download old versions.

by the way:
the sketchucation tools should be enhanced:

• to manage (delete, export, … whatever) the bundles by the user itself
• to show more of the loved plugins then 20
  (if you click on the heart at the bottom menu)
  why not all? i have plenty more then 20.
• as i start the plugin with "recent" as filter, the plugin didn't show me
  the recent plugins, i have to change in menu to another category and then
  switch to recent: now the plugin shows me the real recent list.

Hi,

i recently updated to SKP 2021.

In my running SKP 2020 i got the update to sketchucation store 4.0
and i installed it.

Since this update i got massive problems and freezes with SKP 2020
when i want to load the context menu (right mouse click).

SKP 2020 got a neverending beachball of death and i have to
do a hard shutdown of SKP 2020.

I tried to activate/deactivate all of my plugins (i have many).

no plugin makes problems, but when i activate sketchucation store,
the freezes in context menu starts.

the problem is definitely the sketchucation store 4.0 plugin in SKP 2020.

Can i somewhere download the older version to try, if it works.

Better would be to fix the plugin for SKP 2020.

HIi Fredo,

Palette is visible and i did my changes to show every icon,
but i havn't tried every icon yet.

Dunno what you mean with Quicklauncher!?
If it is the Fredo-Menu of the plugin, then i can say no.
Plugin crashes SKP before Quicklauncher is acitve.

It might be useful if another Mac user would try the plugin,
maybe it is a special thing on my machine.

I wish I could describe the crash more then the following words:

The only thing I can say is, that when I click on a FredoSpline icon
and then click on the drawing area to draw, then SKP crashes immediately.

No Beachball, no other info.

but i do have problems with the plugin on my mac
macOS 10.15.4 (Catalina) and SKP 20.0.362.

SKP crashes while i try to use the plugin.

I think i can delete Fredo's Bezierspline now, or?

my plugins are wild sorted in my SKP Menu
(SKP 2019 under macOS 10.14.3).

Is there a way to sort them alphabetic,
so that finding the plugins in the menu is more logical?

Dunno what kind of sorting SKP makes?
Sorting after installtime?

Hi Sketchtup-Forum,

i have some problems with a variety of SKP plugins
under SLK 2019, macOS 10.14.3.

But i had the problems also with earlier SKP and macOS version,
so i don't think this had to to with that.

The Plugin Icons always disappear after each restart of SKP
and i have to make them visually appear every time.
This is so annoying to do.

Does anybody know to fix this?

the following plugins has this kind of illness:

• 3D Grit (Didier Bur)
• Arcs Circles + (Didier Bur)
• Dimension Tools (Didier Bur)
• 3D Rotate (Eneroth)
• Move Rotate Tool (Idibri)
• Layers Organizer (Lasu Apps)
• Projection (Didier Bur)

… lots from D. Bur.

Hope there is a fix for that.

i there a solution how to delete the bundles under settings in the plugin?

under favourites there are only 20 shown loved plugins and not all my loved.
or do i understand it wrong! are there the most loved plugins from all users shown?

i wished there are only my loved plugins and all of them!

Hi,

I think SKP should get a new/overhault Userinterface for Mac (dunno how it is in Windows).

If you have a ton of installed Plugins it gets confusing.
To much small Windows! Every small Window gets a Head (Line with small red dot),
so we give away to much Pixels with this Line.

• Tools/Plugins Windows should be dockable and, maybe close to a Headline,
  like the normal SKP-Windows (Stile, Layer, ...)
  Or such a Userinterface like Adobe did it with their Apps.
• Icons and/or Text (only) should be shown as you like

A Application-Frame for Sketchup Mac is needed, not all Windows seperate.

Classes for structuring
I think we need Layers and Classes (like Vectorworks) for managing the Objects.
With Classes we need much less Layers.

Example (Architecture):
Layer "Groundfloor"
Classes: Interior Walls, Exterior Walls, Windows, Doors, Ceilings, Furniture, ...

And a Mangager-Tool for Classes- and Layers, so that we can safe different Setups we want.
So by one-click you get the saved View (Classes on/off/greyed out, Layers on/off/greyed out)

New showing method for Layers (and Classes, if we can get them)

"on" = visible an editable
"off" = unvisible
and new "greyed out" = lighter visible but not editable

Hope we can get Apple Metal or Vulcan support for SKP for a faster experience.

Hi,

i have Problems with the Tooltips from Plugins, under SKP Pro 2018, macOS 10.13.6.

Normally i sort my Plugins horizonal on my Screen, but all the Tooltips doesn't work in this mode.
If i orientate my Plugins vertical (and restart SKP), then the Tooltips are shown.

How can i get the Tooltips work horizontal?

Is it possible to speedup the time when the Tooltips are shown?

For further SKP Versions, I would like to have a dual View (Tool Icon + Tool Name),
like you can have it in the top Symbolmenu.

thank you for the split tool plugin. its very usefull.

can you uprade the tool for also splitting triangles in quadfaces?
(draw a line perpendicular from each side of the triangle to the midpoint
of the triangle = then you have a quadface triangle).

all my two thumbs up (im sad, unfotunately i only have two here)!

i have one question/suggestion

im using all your plugins in sketchup on my mac.
and i have no tooltips via mouseoverlay (staying still with
mouse over a tool for a few seconds).

can you please add those tooltips for the mac version of your plugins.
i think tooltips help a lot for people like me, who need icons an text
for a better clarification (having a ton of plugins and icons, can confuse you a lot).

… or am i wrong and the tooltips are there but i have to activate it?
(wrong setting in sketchup or on your tools).
are tooltips available on the win versions of your plugins?

of curviloft and jointpushpull (sketchup pro 2018, mac os 10.13.3)

the icons look now like the attached screenshot.

i don't finde the molding option in the tool.
can someone help me here?

thnx for the 3.07 update.

can you please add the following functions:

• option to delete existing bundles
• option to save my actual bundle and give a custom name for it
• option to show more than 20 loved plugins, (the scrollbar goes not further)
  i have 74 loved plugins, but the extension store plugin version 3.07 can show me only 20 of them
  (under the heart button on the bottom).

thnx and hoping my wishes find their way in a upcoming version.

i have problems with the latest extension (3.0.4) store plugin under sketchup 2017 pro (mac).

the problem:

i have more marked than 80 favourites in the plugin, if i click the heart symbol (bottom line) an
got to the favourites section, i can see 20 loved plugins, but no more!
where are my other 60 beloved ones?

the favourites section has no option for more than one page with 20 plugins.
can you please overhaul this part of the plugin?
