unfortunately this project is not going to be realized.
but there will be a new project at the same place and I am going to start a new thread for it.
Nice renders and as I know TwilightRender has a built-in brightness-contrast adjustment tool. π I also agree with Rich on ambient color due to the bright sky. Here is my taste.

Have a similar project, but the (shoji) doors go all the way across--two doors to alternately display one or two: a desk, a closet, a bar.
