I am about to be contracted to model a large piece of flying machinery. Along with the model I will be providing schematics and interactive 3D environments so the mechanics can look at the way the engine is built or how the wing is assembled. This will be my first job doing this. I am fluent in most CAD softwares. However, I didn't know if some of you had any recommendations for which softwares to use with each other. For example, I was thinking about doing my modeling in Sketchup then using Inventor for my schematics. I'm not sure what to use so the end user (mechanic) can rotate the part and look at it or click a name in the bookmarks and the view change to that part, ect. All input is greatly appreciated.

Share 3D pdf
I am having a hard time finding reviews for "Share 3D pdf" (the software advertised on this site). Does anyone have any pros and cons for this software. It looks very impressive and is something I am considering making a purchase of. Any input is greatly appreciated.

RE: Face camera ANY DIRECTION
I went this direction earlier this morning. Obviously, I was doing it wrong. Thank you, for your help.

Face camera ANY DIRECTION
I know nothing about ruby script. However, I hope to change that soon. I was wondering if there is a way to write a plugin that can make a component face the camera no matter its orientation. For example, I can make "Susan" face me as long as I rotate my view left and right (x,y axis). The moment I rotate the view above her, she no longer is facing me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to approach this?

Returning Volume
How does one call out the volume of the parent in a dynamic component?

Copying in two different directions
I am already using the copies behavior on a component. It copies the component in the Z direction. I want to apply another copies behavior to the Y direction. What needs to be done in order for this to happen?

Transform Molding
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to "transform" Molding from one to another via component options. For example, I have a cased opening that has molding "A" applied to it. Someone changes thier mind and wants molding "B" instead. Is there a way to have different profiles to select from in a pull-down-list in the components options?

Newbie Question Here
I have a dynamic stud wall that I am building. Yes, I know there are some already out there. However, I need to familiarize myself to creating DC. My problem is this. When the wall is certain lengths, the last copy is out past the wall. For example, I can make the wall 96" long and the last stud(created by my stud spacing formula) is a position of 97". I hope I am making sense here. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
